MCA College Review

The college infrastructure is perfect with all features and aminities for the students. The faculty is good and helpful. The college canteen is pocket friendly and the placement cells really help students to shape their future.

The Curriculum is standard as per the Mumbai University syllabus. But the staff is good and cooperative in teaching, enhancing skills and helping in placements. During the graduation period there were no industrial visits, but last year batch has visited to North India for the IV.

The campus placement are average, a few industries like Wipro, TCS, Capegemini, Raw Engineering visit the college for internship and placement. The placement cells also take help of recruitment services for betterment of students like the Cocubes. Approximately 70% of students get intership thourough placements.

The College have a single big, inter and intra college fest name - Hitaishi. The festival have games other events from all departments. The festival also have sports events which are within the teams of different departments and year and cricket is the show stopper event of the all in the fest.

For offline admission the students have to pay a sum of 500? which are adjusted in the fees once the admission is confirmed. The main curriculum fees is affordable and not that expensive. Approximately 75,000 per year. College accepts all the payments by mode of DD - Demand Draft.

The college provided Rajshouri Shahu Maharaj Scholarship for the Minor caste like OBC, SC, ST that provided fee concessions, the students only have to provide the caste certificate and the annual income certificate of the family. For open caste students EBC was provided.

The Gender Ratio was quite poor with more boys. The labs are spacious and well equipped and well maintained, sports and other competition happens during college festival. The facilities are good and help the students to develop their personality and give memories to the Ex Students.

The seniors helped with the with examination notes, college project submissions, and also with placements.

The college is has a wide variety of courses to offer and it is the only reputed institution for MCA within the district. The admission process is standard as per Mumbai University, 1st Entrance Exam then based on the score the online admission process is carried on.

The staff is well experienced and very helpful and have a good knowledge about the subjects that are in the curriculum. There are 7 lectures each of 48 mins for 5 days a week. The average age of the staff is around 35 and all the staff are post graduates.
