Remarks

The most important positive remark is its location. It is just a 3 hours drive from Kolkata and 4 hours drive from Cuttuck and Kharagpur being one of the India's largest railway station located just 10 Kms distance connection is all together very good be it by road or by train. And the city is very safe and clean.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

As per as the course is concerned the course is not so easy really one need to study a lot. Now if the exam structure is considered it is having a semester on each 6 mnts and at the end of the year their is a professional exam considered as the final exam of that year.

Placement Experience

5

Being it an MBBS course their is definitely cent percent placement in the form of internship period and it is compulsory. Thus their is no issues regarding placements and internship. It is same for nearly all the government medical colleges.

College Events

5

Yes, their are many events celebrated in our collegee like Impulse is our annual feast and we really enjoy it like our Durga puja for 4 days. other than this we have Freshers welcome, medicos, cricket tournament, foundation day, cultural day and many more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is very feasible it is 6500 rs for each semester and 12 rs per month for hostel accommodation and now other expenses like books, mess food are exclusion from it. And for backward class students, poor students their is scholarships also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Their are many scholarships that are on offer by the state as well as central government for the students studying in the college. As I am not eligible for any one of those I don't have any detailed idea of it.

Campus Life

5

Gender ratio of our batch is nearly 1to 1. Our collegee life is just fun. we really spend good times with batchmates, juniors or senior. Our collegee is very liberal about political view and we don't have any political issues.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very good and they are like our guardian away from home they help in every aspect of our learning may it be personal or it be academic learning. Our collegee being not so old doesn't have a great alumni network as of now but it will surely increase in the very near future.

Admission

Admission in the collegee is thourough NEET UG. At first All India Rank is published and then State rank by the respective state. Then thourough state level councilling admission is done and their is various rules and regulations regurging the admission thourough state level taking domicile of the state into consideration. This is for 85 percent of the seats and the next 15 percent is done thourough all India councilling with all India rank into consideration.

Faculty

5

The faculty of our collegee is really good and they are definitely qualified and experienced enough to teach us. Though their are some exceptions enough as we see very often in every colleges. Our classes are arranged very regularly and syllabus is completed on time always.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is quite planned and great and has a lot of advantages in having a clinical and learning diagnostic approach to various diseases. One area where the curriculum can improve is by having more practical classes rather than theoretical classes. The exams are quite difficult but are quite planned to make you understand the clinician and the passing percentage is 50 percent.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum spreads over 4.5 years + 1 year of compulsory internship. It includes a total of 19 subjects, these subjects prepare you well for handling patients in real life. AIIMS being an Institute of National Importance, has curated the curriculum very well with lots of focus on practical clinical knowledge. 4.5 years is divided into total 9 semesters and 4 Professional exams. In each exam you have to score more than 50% in each subject to pass. The course academics is very rigid and thorough, so you have to study hard really to come out as a skilled doctor.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very prestigious course, which provides you with a degree and license to practise anywhere in the county as a physician, and also opportunities to presure higher post graduate degrees. Faculty student ratio is variable from dept. to dept. ranging from 1:12 to 1:20 Faculties are highly qualified, most of them having MBBS,MD/MS/DNB(in one or multiple subjects)and even PhD. Teaching method is very good, student friendly,AC lecture theatre,Projectors, individual dept. and laboratories, library, examination hall everything is there. Moreover most of the teachers are approachable and available for the students, they are very helpful. Mostly offline classes are conducted. There are 3 semesters and one final university exam in a year, total four exams, almost one in two to three months. Qualifying marks is 50% in both theory and practical, and is a little difficult to pass to be honest, one has to study regularly to pass the exams.
