Remarks

Very good, well versed staffs and management. Well disciplined well equipped. Very good patient flow. Will be very experienced in 4 years of time. Maximum intake of batch is 40. The college started at 1991.

One year - University exams on june July.If failed attempt the same exam on December. if failed for more than two subjects will have to attend class with juniors. ITS NOT SEMESTER. THERES NO SUPPLY. ONLY CARRY BACKS

Placement Experience

1000/- rupees per month is the stipend. Opportunities yes a vast. The college has very good patient flow which helps in completing the research works and quotas for the students. Stipend will be provided very month

College Events

Onam, Holi, cultural fest, prosthodontics day, dentist day, endodontics day, OMFS day, Chouristmas, Kannada rajyotsava. Very month one program will be conducted by the present ongoing intern batch with the support of staffs and management.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Very feasible. Hostel - 54, 000 to 66, 000 Tution fee- 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh The fees can discussed with the management for any further reduction. There is no donation accepted. Per year at the start of new semester fee has to paid.

Scholarships are provided only for the native students.College will info each student about their status of scholarship availability. Also they provide the scholarship amount as soon as it is credited.

Campus Life

1:2 ratio of boys: girls. Workshops are conduced by respective departments. All kind of religious perspectives are allowed. Most of the students are hindus. Students from Kerala, bihar, tamilnadu, Gujarat also comes for this college.

Hostel Facilities

Good hostel facility. Good Kannada style food. Both veg and non veg. 60, 000 for two seater. Foodis yummy. Healthy. Any changes needed in food can be told to the mess authority where they consider you.

Yes, very well organised alumini meet ups will be conducted in our college per year by the respective batches. Most of the students come with their spouses or families in addition food in Karnataka style will be served

I wrote NEET entrance, on qualifying I registered in Karnataka council (KEA) and got selected thourough selection procedure.later submit the papers and certificates to college directly in the selected college.

I was always wanted to join medical services.Although during my neet ug entrance I could not make it to mbbs but dental was the choice only left I dont regret my choice because its way too vast for anyone Curriculum gives you basic knowledge but clinical practice actually prepares for the real world.Dentistry is all about art and skills I feel areas for improvement is only the exam factor.Number of exams are too much and they should reduce the exam pressure into few Frequency of exams are 4 exams per year and in final year 8 exams including part 1 and part 2 Difficulty level is too much,every exam requires thorough knowledge of the subject

Likes

A very good patient flow. We get to practice more. Since in dentistry hand work is utmost important.
Clinical postings starts from 1st Year itself. The student gets to know their area of interest from the beginning.
The faculties are highly experienced with deep knowledge about the subject. Both teaching and non teaching staffs are very supportive.

Dislikes

No freshers. No much cultural activities which can make the academic year a little boring. But they do conduct sports for 2 weeks long and cultural programme for 1 week long. They also conduct onam programme.
Waking up like a school kid and getting ready for 8 am class. The class timings could be from 9 am.
College is too far from home. I feel homesick. But i have to deal with it haha.

•The course is not that tough but it's not that easy too. •It requires dedication and time. •Theory is needed but in dentistry hand work is utmost important. •To excel in the clinics we should develop our hand skills. •A lot of patient flow helps the students to perform their best because they get tp practice more. •A lot of patience is required in this field. •One should have patience to get patients. •The exams are not very tough to crack. •Regular studies will help to score excellent marks •People also pass by studying from 1 month before the final exam

best collage for dental course

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i wanted to be a dentist. The student ratio Of boys and girls is 50-50 approximately The faculty staff is so big and helpful towards students. Professors are well qualified but the Teaching method isn't really good in a few subjects also 80 students so professors can't focus on individual students. Overall it's ok. Term exams are yearly annual exams. There is no semester system. It is hard to pass per year because the syllabus is so lengthy and subjects are hard. You need to prepare well to pass.

Remarks:

Our college get a lot of patients from the rural areas around. Therefore we get exposed patients with different kinds of pathological conditions. Which increases our knowledge and helps us to learn better and to treat the patients better.

Remarks:

College is in the very good place. College campus is mind blowing. Students will experience a very good climate and food over. We have amazing set of management who keep full entire campus clean. But disadvantage is that our college doesn't have proper network.

Well spent time of my life.

Remarks:

The college is good and there are constant improvements going on . The patients have increased considerably in the recent years providing good practice to students. The stipend however needs to be increased according to the current standards.
