College

The college infrastructure is very new compared to that of the hostel. And while the library remains one of the best in whole Gujarat the hostel looks very old compared to it. Overall it is best if you want to take the course as Neet prepatation in Library is also allowed even when your course is completed.

There is a fixed course without any scope of new research. The first year has a very hectic and tight schedule with 9 am to 12 pm lectures and 1 pm to 5 pm lab which gradully becomes relaxed till final year where there is 9 am to 12 am wards and a single or two lecture in afternoon

Job opportunity is very high considering the low number of Doctors in the state. There is compulsary 1 year internship for every student to become graduate. The internship period is under the facilties you learned from and the stipend is 13000? per month

There is a single big event in the institute known as UTSAV, held in April the birth month of the founding father of institute, Shouri C.U.Shah. It consists of Sports events, cultural events and Art events. Each event has 100 points and the batch with highest points wins the UTSAV cup.

The college has no scholarship programs running. But there is a government run scheme called 'Mukhyamantri Yuva Swalamban Yojana' which provides 50% fees relief to the with annual income less than 1000000 per annum. No education loan is provided by college.

There is a cricket ground, a volleyball court, a badminton court and a basketball court in the campus. Gender ratio in sports for male:female is 70:30. Student parties are frequent and highly rated restaurants are also nearby. Tolerence to all diversity is high and less frequently there are any divides.

The hostel rooms have a moderate old infrastructure. The rooms are big in size with two tube lights and a single fan for thouree person. The institute provides a single size bed, a chair, a table, and a cupboard for one person. PG infrastructure is good but fees are double than hostel. Average rental in PG is 100000 per annum.

Seniors and alumni are very supportive and ragging and bullying are almost nil. In MBBS you need the senoirs in every aspect of the course time for guidence and the treand in the college is very positive and supportive to the juniors. There is an Anti-Ragging committee lead by the junior students and reservsd tables for juniors in the library.

First give 11 th and 12 th exam after which you give GUJCET or thourough Neet UG exam, be present at gandhinagar with valid documents and thourough merit list by Gujarat Government, select college when your merit number comes from various options of medical colleges.

All faculty are highly qualified either with a degree of PHd or M.D. in every subject that is either they have a degree thourough B.Sc. then M.Sc. in the subject or they become MBBS then M.D. in the subject. They take deep interest in the students education and overall moral development.
