Review on Dr. S & SS Ghandhy college of Engineering and Technology

Yes the Main negative point is here only Little bit Speaking of College students only they discriminate over North Indian students and Specially Kathiyawadi and gujarati people. But this is upto you go make friendship with them and yes they will be helping help in future. Enlighten them with your intelligence and hardworking and knowledge.

This college is best in all way either whatever it may be. GTU conducts exams in 4 ways I.e. Mid sem exam, External exam, Viva and Practicals. Might be sometime it conducts some Mark's from Projects also and somehow many professor give Mark's by seeing the student nature towards politeness and Regularity of attendance in Daily Classes.

This college itself as I said have high merits for Admission from that only I can say The best thing in this college is their placement cell. The Placement cell every years bring 4-5 industries for placement.If you want to get Job or placed in best industries than this college is best and also the stipend which provides here by industry is best as per other college industries.

This college conducts every year so many events including all like essay competitions, cultural competitions, Technical competition, Robowar,Sports, Music, Dance and etc.so many are there to get enjoy and get best extra knowledge added in your CV though.

In all over India I think Gujarat is having best fees structure for Engineering that is only Rs 1500 per sem and nothing extra I have to pay for fees. Extra is only GTU admission fees and Mid sem fees external fees etc.are extra but If you are getting Engineering degree at around 10000 Rs per year than this is golden opportunity to get admission and achieve your dreams from here only.

No this college doesn't provide any loans by the way I dont know about loan as I didnt took any but Yes this college gives Scholarship in the name of founder of this College Dr. Saroj Sorabji Ghandhy scholarship for General category of Rs.2000 for top 15 students in each branch. Though its governemnt college scholarship of Rs.2000 is more in all ways. I got scholarship here continuously 2 years of my starting college and the last one year I didnt got as I was not it the top list.

Yes all facilities and Extracurriculars activities is done here by Students only if you want to go for that than kindly take permission from dept and go for it that the best thing this college gives you freedom.

No Actially I didnt opted for Hostel here as I m from surat only and this college is only 15 km from my home so Daily coming and going is my regularity. But many of my friends are there in hostel who were far from surat like Valsad, Dahod spoke of them from Rajkot took hostel as accommodation here.The Rate per Sem here is 1500 Rs only that is the best thing you will get here for accommodation by governemnt.Extra charges included maintenance and nothing else.

Yes here the senior will help in all way from learning to Admisiso process and from books to Financially they would help if relation is good from your senior here.And the alumni here are much helpful than others as If classes is over than you can go to their cabin in free time and ask whatever you want to ask with any subjects and they will help with that also. Also the main thing is here Professors will help you with your personal issues also they will guide you what is right and wrong. AS I remembered one time at the project time we dont have money so much as we are from low classes than our Desing professor TN Ansari helped us with 10000 Ra from his pocket and told make the project best. Thanks to him and zi remberer hik always as That help made my CV best and got placed in Campus from this project only.

Actually If you want to get admission in this college than simply it's on merit basis only as per GTU conduct by Acpc. What I got Mark's in 10th std in subjects English Maths and Science will be averages Makes the merit to get admission into this college.And Yes this college is best in all over Gujarat also so this requires higher merit than other colleges in Gujarat.Specially those living in Surat have tough competition to get into this college itself.

In all way this college has best faculty I can say here.Because In this college all professors are highly qualified some are having 20 to 25 years of Industrial experince having high designation in Industry and than Joined this college for education and some of them are authors of many books of engineering. Some of them are NITians and IITians also.The best thing is that if lecturer is new here than also he is having extraordinary knowledge regarding their core subjects.
