Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of our college was rigorous and was in tune with the requirements of the industries. It involves a case study, soft skills, etc. I opted for Marketing management as my specialized area.

Placement Experience

More than 90% of the students were placed. Our top recruiter companies were Aditya Birla Group, Axis Bank, Amul, 99 acres.com, HDFC Bank, etc. and many more. Our college also provides internships as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The grand total fee for the PGPM course was ?8.01 Lakhs. This includes tuition and other fees for each semester. I think the fee structure of our college was feasible compared to other business colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers merit-based scholarships for the meritorious students who have score outstanding marks in the past academic and students who secured the marks of 75% or maybe 80% in every semester can avail of the scholarships.

Hostel Facilities

Our college does not provide hostel facilities for the students however, they have tied with several hostels near the campus. There are no many hostels available with affordable charges near the college campus like 1,20,000 for a single sharing room.

Admission

I took the CAT entrance exam so, I was exempted to take the IBSAT ( IBS Aptitude Test). I have scored valid marks of 70%. So, I fill out the form with all the required information along with my CAT score. Then, I attended the Group discussion followed by a personal interview.

Faculty

We have a total of 48 faculty members in our college, they were all highly educated and most of them hold a doctorate degree as well. The class lectures were impressive, they were clear and easy to understand for the students.

Placement Experience:

In the first year, there are placement opportunities for internship and in the second year, there are proper campus placements that take place, led by a student elected placement committee. Some of the top companies that extended offers for the students were Microsoft, Google, AccStrat, ITC, Mondelez, JPMC etc. The highest package offered was 5L and the average was 2.2L with 100% placements for the summer internships. I plan to work in the finance or consult sector after getting my degree.

Remarks:

The campus life at our college is very enjoyable. The system of library help the students to gain knowledge through different books. Ciunselling system is also provided at the college so that the student can get a healthy environment. Indoor Game facilities and a common room is also provided. These all are the positive things about our college.

Remarks:

College is cleaned. Rooms are very airy it would be good if there was an AC. But it is o.k. Campus is cleaned and green. Canteen is so good. They use to make fresh food every day which is the best thing of them so there is no need to worry about stomach ache due to old food. Overall good college.

Rules are strict. Students have to be punctual at college timings. In starting, schedule seems tough but after days goes, all turns into quality. Whatever the schedule is: it is good and long term beneficial for the growth of the students.

Life at NIFM

Remarks:

Considering the experience of the participants, the course has been designed for learning and upgradation of knowledge and skills nationally as well as internationally. The Course curriculum also includes one week foreign exposure to a neighbouring country. The international attachment of the participants of this group was organised at ‘Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah, Malaysia’.

Remarks:

The uniqueness of the programme lies in its extensive use of market professionals as resource persons for the programme. Apart from sound grounding in academic concepts pertaining to the capital markets, the participants gets a chance to interact with senior regulatory officials, executives of exchanges, leading merchant bankers and foreign institutional investors.

A Deep Dive into IBS Gurgaon

I applied for ICFAI Business School,JAIPUR before taking admission in gurgaon. In jaipur they offer MBA(Masters of business administration) which is a theoritical degree and in gurgaon they offer PGPM (Post graduation program in management) which is a practical course,that's why i choose this college over others and the location is also quite good as gurgaon is the hub of jobs. Eligibility of the course mainly you need to be a Graduate and the application form, application fee and application dates were given on their official website. First of all, there were 2 rounds of tests for admission, mainly the first one was Entrance test which was IBSAT and the Second round was the GD round. IBS Gurgaon Review

Good- They Pay full attention to students, have interactive assignment and case based study, Dean Also interact with students.
