College management is helpful if someone has genuine problems but the location of the College is not good also they will not leave a chance to steal money from you.
Course Curriculum Overview
Ipu curriculum for btech is not that relevant as even in the 4th year there are many subjects which have no use for computer science students career.No curriculum misses its mark to groom a student for securing on-campus placements as in the end everybody focuses on marks in semesters. No not many companies come to college.
Placement Experience
Very few companies for my course had visited while the campus placement but according to the college, they have tied with tcs, Infosys, wipro and many more. For recruitment, one just has to clear written exams and then personal interview. Some extra classes are given to prepare students for the placements.
College Events
Hmritm regularly organizes cultural and tech fest. They are not very big but also not that bad.As singers are arranged, food stalls are arranged gaming is also arranged. Students do participate a lot, some as participants and some as volunteers to handle the event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The program fee is moderate and the mode of payments are quite good as they accept cash as well as demand draft and cheques and also allow net banking. Yes, one has to submit 5000 rupees as security and also the bus fees if opted. Yes, the college provides transparency.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the college offers scholarships that the government allows. The eligibility criteria is students financial status. For applying one have to submit the required documents in the College and then the College will send it to the government for approval. The average sum will totally depend on the students financial status.
Campus Life
Campus life in hmritm is not up to the mark as the campus is very small and the campus is located at quite a bad location. The gender ratio is moderate. Labs, sports and competition also miss the marks. They are not very good but also not very bad. One will enjoy going to college campuses with friends.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, there alumni networks but they are not quite strong as many students don't even know about it. there are groups for seniors and juniors interaction. They are helpful.
Admission
I opt for this course because I liked coding. I chose this college because, with my rank, this was the best college there with nice faculty and placement rate. I cleared ipu cet so according to my cut off i liked this college. Hence I went to the college and confirmed my seat thereby submitting required documents and fees
Faculty
There are around 8 lectures a day including labs. In hmr, there is mix of different age professors varying from 25 to around 60. Not every professor is an expert of the subject they teach. Even some teachers just make students copy down the things they are saying. They don't explain, they just provide you notes.
