Remarks

The College is awesome academically. The staff is really helpful. However, the main drawback is fmthe hefty fees they charge from one student. Also there has to be some changes made in the infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The curriculum is really very hectic. Our classes starts at 8 am sharp and goes till 5 pm in the evening. We have three internals in 1 year and at the end of the year, we have university exams. This exam comprises of the whole syllabus of that particular year which test our understanding of a subject.

Placement Experience

4

Our College provide intership to its students only. However a person from another university can also apply for internship of interested. There is no placements in MBBS. It is followed by neet pg based on which we get different ranks. Stipend is very less

College Events

4

There are many events starting from academic conferences, cultural fest, quizzes, panel discussions, seminars, etc. There is University fest and various fest from other Colleges also. It provides a platform for co curricular activities.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is quite expensive. The fees for my batch is 7 lac per anum which was doubled the next year for the next batch. Our books also cost alot. They also charge other kinds of fees including examination fees etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am not aware of any such facilty in my College. I have heard that the College gives scholarship to few children based on certain criteria. However, I have not seen anyone taking any loan of availing any scholarship.

Campus Life

4

The number of girls are more compared to the boys. We have a lot of extracurricular activities including sports, literart events, cultural events and other recreational games. We have a fest that is organised by the students only.

Alumni/Alumna

We have a good alumni network. There is a anual meeting of all the alumni. The seniors are very helpful. There is no ragging as such. The environment is really friendly and juniors feel comfortable talking to seniors.

Admission

I always wanted to pursue medicine. I gave neet entrance exam and through merit, I got admission in this College. This College has a good number of staff and a good exposure to patients. There was no interview as such because the admission was based on the merit and not on any interview.

Faculty

5

The faculty is educated and friendly to students. They are always ready to clear the doubts. Although they are doctors and have a busy schedule, they manage their time and take lecture for us. They provide us practical knowledge that cannot be provided by any of the textbook.

The curriculum is great. It is followed as per RGUHS ( Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences) guidelines. There are currently RS4, RS5 and RS6 curriculums. Each curriculum is different in it's own way. The pattern of subjects, exams and NEXT exam has changed as per each year and curriculum.

Postings are helpful because we get to learn a lot of things and even the practical classes of pre and para clinical subjects. But keeping attendance mandatory for theory class doesent help much bcoz at the end we remember only those things which we have studied in our space and peace of mind. But attendance is very important criteria for getting eliginility for final exams

MBBS is a big part of my life , best course to take if you love reading and love science. Teaching methods in our college involves patient interaction and stuff giving us more practical knowledge. The internals take place once in 3 months followed by minimum of a month study holiday for the finals. The internals are fairly easy .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I grew up in a family of doctors and it was always my plan to pursue Mbbs. The faculty I would say like every college has the great ones and the not-so-great ones. The faculty: student ratio is high, but it all comes down to the quality of teaching. And which is okay as compared to govt. Colleges. Final Exams and at the end of each year, with question paper being set by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is considered a very difficult exam to pass among medical universities in India. And 3 internal exams are conducted every year by the college itself.

Since it is a medical college. There are not many direct placements. We secure a good result and our next exam score decides the college we get placed or the pg course we shall be pursuing. My plans after getting this degree would be to pursue a course in general surgery.
