Remarks

Fewer fees, they provide free education to schedule caste students but, the lectures and staff quality is very poor. It needs to improve

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

They only followed Anna University syllabus, they give the training to get good marks. They don't focus on students skills improvement and knowledge gaining. They not in the current trend. This college arranges industrial visits yearly twice. it is helpful for gaining knowledge.

Placement Experience

1.5

My college has tie-up with small industries and companies. they conduct interviews on the college campus. Those companies shortlisted the students based on their requirements. They use regular interview methods.like, group discussion, face to face, aptitude, etc.

College Events

5

My college regularly celebrate cultural programs yearly once We conduct sports meets and competitions. We arrange management games and technical skills programs. My college continuously conduct entrepreneurship development programs for students.it create a huge impact on the students mind set

Fee Structure And Facilities

My college fees structure is very low compared to other colleges. Total MBA course package is less than 1 lakh rupees. My college only accepts money or cheques. they try to update digital but, it's not suitable for this locality. Transportation and hostel and canteen and exam fees are additional.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college gives opportunities for applying for scholarship and loans.it is helpful to a lot of students. Sc and St caste students get100 percentage scholarship. Yearly 40000.

Campus Life

3

My class has 30girls and 22 boys. But.. overall college ratio may be 3:1 boys number is high. girls number is very low. The main reason is the mechanical engineering department that department has huge strength of boys. Here we have a positive environment, we don't have any cultural diversity differences. It is a good thing about college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, definitely. Alumni association provide guidance to freshers.it try to give a sense of direction to new students. They give preference to placements.

Admission

I like to study management courses.so, I choose this college. It is very near to my location.lot of time they approached me for admission.they following certain process to admission. Application form filling, documents verification, address verification, background verification. Finally, they completed the admission procedures

Faculty

2

My MBA department has 7 lectures, they mostly completed a PhD in management studies. They well trained to teach students, they attend regular training and development meeting on regular basis, my Hod has 5years experience in private and sector management, he is genuine.

Thiagarajar School of Management - [TSM], Post Graduate Diploma in Management [PGDM]
Reviewed on Mar 1, 2020

Admission:

Thiagarajar School of Management being one of the premier institutes in South India and PGDM being its Flagship Program, I had no hesitation in choosing Tsm. The high advantage of PGDM is that you will be involved with a lot of practical sessions rather than classroom learning. Moreover, PGDM is offered only by institutes recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) and TSM has been also awarded NBA and NAAC Accreditation. Pgdm is where you can build your soft skills and the curriculum is flexible and does not have to follow university standards and also can be changed by the institutes according to the industry requirements. For admission, You need to take up entrance tests like MAT.CAT,XAT,CMAT and the candidate must have 3 years of bachelor's degree from a recognized university by the UGC. Candidates can apply for admission once the dates are released and the shortlisted candidates need to attend the GD followed by the PI. Candidates from Tamil Nadu can take up the state level entrance examination TANCET and students can apply for counseling and selected candidates are exempted from the GD/PI process and can directly take up admission.
