Remarks

The schedule is liberal but the number of exams are so many it is overwhelming. There are some outdated subjects being taught but those are same everywhere in India so it's actually better here than so many colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

5 internals and 1 external, internal and external has equal weight age and each internal is for 20 marks and average of all internals is taken. Ciricullum is better than many other colleges since the college makes the own syllabus.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are very impressive many tier 1 companies visit the college the highest salaries can go up to 30 lpa. The college starts giving internship opportunities from the 3 rd year through online tests and other things even teachers help. The stipend can go as high as 75,000.

College Events

3.5

There are lot of technical and cultural fests Inthe college. Main fest is jayciana. It is held in even sem. There are many coding clubs, acting clubs, photography, IEEE,DSC and etc. Each of these clubs held their own fests every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure varies in how you enter the campus if you take comedk you have fee of almost 1.7 lakhs. If you enter through kcet you have. Fee as low as 50,000. If you enter through management your fee is as high as 10 lakhs as donation along with tution fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many government aided scholarships that are being provided. Most of the scholarships i heard are based on caste and some are on merit. There are a few scholarships for kids of governament employees but it's so minimal that no one's chooses them.

Campus Life

4.5

There is a fitness branch. Hostel students are provided free gym facility. There is a football court, a cricket stadium, a basket ball court, a tennis court outdoor, a badminton court outdoor and an indoor court for table tennis and other games.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel is very good for the most parts. People can enjoy food for few days but after few months it's booring and the washing machines are provided 24 hrs electricity and water with high speed internet which can peak downloads are 20 mega bytes per sec.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the alumini come to the college during the technical fests and offer us guidance. They also help us in placements and internships. The seniors are the ones who mostly organize every thing that happens they are very helpful.

Admission

Phase 1 was online selection after result then accepting a seat held in Bangalore which is selected online and then verification by college and fee payment as final phase. In phase 2 there is prescribed fee amount for blocking the seat.

Faculty

3.5

They are effective. Good teaching methods prescribed by college. Most of them are liberal. No problems with teachers when it comes to doubt solving and other things. There are also mentors and class teachers.

Placement Experience:

MIT Manipal Placements starts at around 6th semester as atleast the training and all starts. So final interviews and all starts for us in the 7th semester and before entering 8th or the final semester most of the placements are already done. I still wants to pursue masters as our university has tie-ups with American universities and our course skills can be bettered with masters is what I feel.

the placements oppurtunity are there and you can grab a very good paackage from here. The highest is around 44 , average is 7 lpa. Students become eligible for final placemnts from 6-7 semester. Companies like thermo fisches , fractal , belc , hitachi and many other, have visited. The percentage of placemnt is quite high but people grabbing more than 30lpa is very few. after degree i want to go for job directly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly I don't a thing about the relevance of the curriculum, this curriculum thingy has been changing every now and then in our college I hope atleast they stick to one curriculum and make us study that and don not change it further. As I've mentioned before, I was not informed in prior about the syllabus so obviously there's no specifi aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course. I think the curriculum will prepare me to face the world way more wisely and strategically than how I'd deal with it otherwise. I think one area they can improve is in physics, they can give us more seminars, projects and stuff to check our understanding. That would really help a lot of people to be creative and help people to get the exposure. Coming to the difficulty level of the paper, I know nothing because I haven't written the sem exam yet so, I know nothing. But, can guarantee one thing!! Be careful, cause as per sources our college is known for it's tough question paper, so y'all better study.
