Best college for hardworking students

The college is strict compared to other graduation colleges. But that keeps the reputation for the college and gives good accademic results. A good canteen facility is provided and campus atmosphere is very green and comfortable for students.

The course duration is 4 years. Course is a combination of practical labs and theory classes. The syllabus is much outdated compared to IIT's, but the syllabus had the ebility to provide subject knowledge for students. It was the mixture of year and semester. 1st year exam was yearwise. The college doesn't provide internship facilities. Students must find the opportunity themselves. But there is an active placement cell in the college and each year, a placement drive is conducted for the final year students.

There is an annual cultural fest 'illuminatti' conducted in the college campus. It include cultural night for the students. And also a technical fest is conducted. Students can present papers before a qualified panel and winners are selected. There is an annual sports meet conducted in the college and different sports events are conducted.

I got admission based on the merit score and the fee structure for me was 75,000rs per annum. For management students, fee structure is 1lakh per year. It's a reputed college and compared to other colleges, its feasible.

The college management provides loan facilities along with canara bank. A branch of canara bank is active inside college campus. And also college provides scholarship for the students with good accademic performance. Their fees is reduced by 25000 rs yearly. Also college provide funds for the project works conducted by students.

Labs are bit old, but they habe good machinery and experienced tutors. There are separate labs for mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics and computer science. There is an active basketball, football and cricket team for the college. Events related to the sports are conducted yearly. An active fitness club is inside the campus and they provide gym facilities for students.

I haven't opted hostel, I was a day scholar. But some of my friends stayed in the hostel. Rooms was neet and clean. But food was not good as expected. But management conduct repeated checkings in college hostel mess. Also gym facility is available for the hostelors.

There is an active alumni association in the college named "alumni association Mohandas college of engineering and technology". They conduct meetings annually and help placement cell to invite new companies for the placement drive.

I have cleared the entrance exam conducted by kerala education cell for the admission of bachelor of technology course for all engineering colleges. And according to the merit rank, I got admission in this college.

The faculties are well qualified. The management always make sure the qualifications of teaching staffs. Each faculty is completed the Masters in their respective subjects. They have good subject knowledge and well experience in teaching field. They are always helpful to the students.
