Course Curriculum Overview

MBBS course is of 5.5 years. In this there are 4.5 year of studying and one year of internship in which we have to work and learn in hospital inside college campus. Every year a final university exam is there. It is compulsory to pass that exam by 50%. There are 3 internal exams in each year. In internal exams you have to score 50% to qualify for university exams. Here we have MAHARAJA SAYAJIRAO UNIVERSITY OF BARODA which takes our final exam. In together MBBS is an amazing journey and I am experiencing right now!!

3.5

Medical college baroda is a government medical college. Here they provide internship for one year and right now stipend is 12000 to 13000 rupees per month. Placements are there for the state quota students in the form of Bond for 3 years.

College Events

4.5

There are so many college festivals:- Medical literature festival Burnout-sports competition Youth festival Alumni association Vibrant-annual function Inter faculty tournaments Etc. All functions are very well celebrated. It is very much fun time and time for enjoyment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible because it is government funded medical college. The fee per annum is 25000 rupees. Earlier it was 6000 rupees till 2017. There is bond system for state quota students in which you have to sign a bond with government for working in rural areas after completion of graduation.

Fees and Financial Aid

The scholarship is provided to students both by governments and the institute as well. Mostly students from sc, st and obc get scholarships, depending upon what categories you come under you get different scholarships. In some case you may get the entire expense sponsored by government if you are eligible.

Campus Life

There are various facilities available in the college there are various labs for every department like anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, etc. For sports facilities we have a big ground known as pavilion. It has the facility for all sports like athletics, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, football, cricket, swimming, etc. So the facilities of sports and labs are adequate and are enough to fulfill the requirements of all students

Course Curriculum Overview:

Choosing the medical field was my dream since childhood. This college provides the perfect environment for studies and overall development required for students. Being the highest ranked medical College in Gujarat and constantly bagging a good ranking in all Indian medical College rankings there are no loopholes in the academic part provided by the college. There are well-experienced and passionate professors and the tutor to students ratio is more than sufficient. Since I joined the college there hasn't been a lecture that went vacant. While talking of academic curriculum our college strictly follows the curriculum provided by NMC. The professors are very much qualified in their field having done their post-graduation and higher studies from the b.j Medical College Ahmedabad itself or various top-notch colleges across India. The testing and marking scheme of the exams are competitive with top colleges. The tests are never delayed and the schedule is tightly monitored.
