Good college

Very old college about 50 years old. It was started in 1969 which is going to celebrate golden jubilee in 2020. Infrastructure need to be improved still and due to lack of maintenance its quite lagging back.

We study all about the fish and its science including its biology and reproduction and growth dynamics. We have 8 semesters each semester of 23weeks. Out of 100 marks 20 is for midterm exam, 15 marks for practical exams, 10 marks for record maintenance, 5 marks for attendance, and rest 50 marks for final exam.

We can move to the private sectors after studies or else can continue to higher education. In the government sectors we have to clear the entrance exam. Internship is provided in the final year which include 23 weeks of Inplant training and 23 weeks of Hands on experience and stipend is provided by state government during inplant training.

Feasible and it is proscribed by the University. Compared to other colleges its very less fees and it comes around 25000 per year and we have to pay it at the time of our registration. We also have to pay 650 as group insurance scheme.

Scholarship is provided by the state government for the weeker section people of the society in terms of fees concession and Food and accommodation for hostelites. For SC and ST students free accommodation is provided.

Well equipped laboratories are present and also have sports facilities which include volleyball, table tennis, football, cricket, athletics, basketball, kabbadi and many more. And also have NSS activities.

Alumni association is present Ned as COFAA Mangalore which has separate guest house facility for the alumni. After the graduation we have to get membership to the association by paying the prescribed amount.

After my puc exam I applied for CET exam and I have qualified in the exam. Seat was alloted as per the ranking alloted by Karnataka examination authority. I have received seat through karnataka CET as per my rank in the farm science division. I got admission in the college by paying the prescribed fees.

Good number of faculties are there who are well experienced in their subjects. Some of them are newly appointed and are contractual who need some more experience in their subjects and as usual there are some worst teachers.
