A great place to start education

It's a four year course including eight semesters providing every detail and information about drugs starting with the introduction to this subject, then proceeding to organi Chemistry. Both theory and practical are included.

The college doesn't promise to provide any placements or job opportunities. But a student is required to keep good grades in their Bachelor course, so they can go for higher studies or be hired by big companies as executives or managers or for research purposes.

Important seminars, lectures and functions related to education are held which are required for the students' development take place. Other than this, Farewell day and Fresher's day are celebrated. And National holidays are given. And Republic day is celebrated with joy and excitement.

The fees structure of this college for B.Pharm students is around 50000 or 1lakh which is expensive. But keeping in mind the facilities that the college provides with highly skilled and professional teachers who work hard for the upliftment of their students; the fees is justified.

There is no scholarship available as such for the students from this college. And I haven't availed any loan as for my parents the fees is affordable. If anyone wants to take a loan, then he/she can go to their respective banks with the permission of the Principal through her signature.

The Institute has peerless infrastructure which provides a computerized reference library with CDs. Crescent College of Pharmaceutical Sciences occuppies a prominent place among the unaided college affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, (KUHS) with well equipped laboratory facilities in IT, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry and Chemistry with analytical tools, Broad - band internet facilities and provision for uninterrupted Power Supply.

No. I haven't applied for the hostel facility as my home is very near to my college. But as per the information gained, the college provides hostels facilities for boys and girls separately along with electricity, safe and clean water for drinking and internet facility.

The alumni network is very strong and wide. Permission and a separate fees is needed to be paid for getting membership in the alumni. The seniors are very helpful and supportive as well as friendly. Provided that the juniors have to cooperate with them at the same time.

The state government helds an exam for students of sciences who have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent. Admission to this college requires a good rank in this exam and the 10+2 examination. Accordingly, students will get selected by the merit list.

The faculty of the college is excellent. Each and every professor is skilled in this field so that they can impart knowledge about this subject. They make learning more interesting for their students and easy to understand each and every detail about the drugs.
