Postive remarks - You can get the b.tech degree by wrote learning.You will get the knowledge that you need to work hard. Negative remarks - You cannot enjoy your college life and cant study by understanding the concept and also you feel so nervous.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am very much dissapointed with the course curriculum. The curriculum made by the university is very poor and there are not much practical teachings and everything is wrote learning.I am very much dissapointed woth these kind of curriculum.In my openion more practical sections are needed for the development of a student and the university is not making that happen.
Placement Experience
There are placements in our college and TCS is the main company that comes here for placements. But not a lot are getting placed. Only some are getting placed and the management during admission tells that there is 100% placement and whatever the says is not correct. No intenships and so no stipends are not provided by the college
College Events
Not much events are there in mangalam college of engineering.On paper there are many cultural and sports events but in reality there are not much. The main objective is studying i know but the college is too foccussed on studying
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for different people are different. It is neither feasible nor expensive. it stays in between them. But the increase the fees in some years by saying that this is the fees for placements , which is not acceptable
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, there is scholorship for some students who have good marks but there are no loan facilities offered by the college.And also the scholorship amount are different to different people.Scholorship means they give a discount in there academic fees
Campus Life
Labs , sport and other extra curricular activities are verypoor here.Labs are not good.They didnt teach things well and also they donot conduct any sports programs.As i said earlier there is not much culturald here
Hostel Facilities
The hostel infrastucture and facilities are very very poor.The food is bad , there is not good internet connections as said during the admission and the hostel fees is also not acceptable.since iam a day scholar, i dont have more ideas about this
Alumni/Alumna
Senior students are so friendly and they donot interefere in our activities and they dont help us in our studies too.I have no idea about the alumini network in this college. The graduation function has also stopped.
Admission
I applied by the rank i got im keam. I approached the college for the admission in comp science and engineering.Later i moved to EEE.They are very friendly during admission time. At first i went to the admission area and they called me to the admission room and collected all my details. All the 3 persons who was there was very friendly
Faculty
The faculty's attitude during the first year was so good.They taught things well in the first year but the downside was that they was so strict.Second year onwards these things changed inversly and now im in third year and the teaching of the faculty is very poor. Now the situation is that , we need to study ourself and now my question is that then why we are paying fees.
