Positive: Good course structure, helpful seniors and alumni, good community, good mess food, overall supportive faculty, nice cultural events, long vacations Negative: small campus size, 85% compulsory attendance, high course/assignments load, student body doesn't have much say in college policies, lot of exams

The course curriculum is great. The college concentrates on computer science specific courses from 1st year itself. We got acquainted with 2 new languages and a lot of core subject knowledge like IT, data structures and computer system organization in the first year it self. By end of second year we are done wit all core courses and further years we only need to take elective courses which gives students an advantage of shaping their careers in the way they want. Exam structure is a bit hectic. During the semester for each course we have 2 quizzes, 1 mid semester exam and 1 end semester exam. This implies during the 4 month semester you will have one quiz or exam every month.

The college has a high placement percentage. Studying here also makes you more open to opportunities like open source, free lancing, working abroad and doing research. The college provides opportunity to all. I was able to get a internship at Google at end of my second year which was really exciting for me. The stipend for internships range between 2Lakhs to 20thousand per month. This includes internships for student of second years and above.

The techno cultural fest of the college. The 3 day long event has stand up comedy, live music and DJ during the 3 nights respectively. During the day there are many stalls to go through and events like face painting, treasure hunt, escape the room and robo soccer happening through out the campus. Megathon: It's a hackathon conducted annually by ECell, IIIT Hyderabad. This 24hour hackathon sees a huge participation from through out the all the colleges of Hyderabad and other tier one colleges in the country. Except these two events all festivals from Diwali to Halloween are celebrated in college where all students come together and enjoy the event.

The fee structure is bit expensive with nearly 1.5Lakhs per semester as fee. But if we compare with other private institutes the fee is really feasible. The institute provides you with all the basic amenities and takes the money accordingly. Any extra money saved on water, electricity or food is adjusted in next semesters fees.

The college doesn't directly offer any loan facilities to students but we have a SBI branch inside our college campus which would eagerly give students the financial help they need to complete their education.

Sports: It''s really good with sessions happening in the morning and in evening. Special trainers are also made available. The college also has gyms for students to use. Labs: They are equipped with AC and nicely ventilated. Labs are generally taken by teaching assistants who are highly receptive towards students doubts.

New girls hostels were just built when I joined. The infrastructure is decent. The washrooms are well maintained. We are provided with water coolers and washing machines on alternate floors. Room cleaning is done at beginning of every month.

Being a relatively new college the alumni network is small but they are really helpful. Alumni working in good companies are open to giving you referrals for the company and give advice for any issue you face in your career. The seniors are also really helpful and friendly with giving you crash courses on topics you are struggling with.

I got my admission through JEE Mains. I had a 1664 rank in JEE Main. I filled a form on the IIIT Hyderabad admission portal with all the appropriate details and documents. After the first round I got my 3rd choice and had to pay the advance for the same to secure a seat. In further rounds I ended up getting a my 2nd preference which is the stream I am currently studying in.

The faculty is really motivated and good in the field of research. As professors some of them are really interactive and teach with passion. Most of the faculty however is really approachable, they try their best to clear your doubts and are respectful to the students.
