Our college is good in all aspects Like studies extra curicular activities, sports, lab etc .we have all sufficent facilities which are needed for our this course programme.Teachrs are well experienced .

As all know agriculture is the back bone of india all should know about agriculture .This course helps us to get the knowldge about all activities of agriculture .It helps us know the every crop information.we also get knowldge about ecomic importence of agriculture

Placement Experience

Job opportunities are good and we can prepare for civil service exams by studing this course we get as much time as we can . Yes our college provides intership its excellent Every student can get use of this intership

In our college we celebrates many events like college day ,foundation day indipendence daY, gandi jayanti,valmiky jayanti. We celwbrate ganesh chaturrhu very grandly.all students partipipate all events

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fees structure is feasible.we have total 8 semesters we should register for all sems after compition of one sem. Fees is 20000 for first sem gradually it decresses sem by sem .We pay 12000 for all india tour in 8 sem

Our college give many scholarships for student welfare .as i know one scholarship given by college is called merit scholarship it given to student who is get good marks in whole classs its about 16000 rupees

Campus Life

Our coLlege is good in extracurricular activitiess,sports,lab etc. We have big ground for spotrs like cricket ,footbal,vollyball,kabbaddi.etc we also have inside court for badminton,table tennis. We also have running track .our has name in national and international level in all extra activities

Hostel Facilities

I opted hostel .hostel has been recently reniewed and has got 24 hrs water and electricity .we 10000 as a deposit.we pay 2700 to 3000 as hostel fee for food and accomadation.food is good. In hostel we have mini library.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumini network and seniour students are helpful for us.when i came here last year seniours helped lot for adjusting here ,for studies they guided us in right way .they taken care of us like their own brothers.

Admission

I got 555marks in puc out of 600 and by getting good ranking in kcet exam i applyed for this coarse thorough option entry by karnstaka state board i got seat in this college in the fitst round after that i joined the college

Faculty

This college gives all sources needed for compliting the course without any issues.we have big library with all facilities it open all 7.seven days of week.we have a big ground for sports .i am satiafied with faculty of our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum included the syllabus including 22 different departments like agronomy,entomology, pathology, food science, forestry etc...it thought us abt frm basics,but the hing was it included the old syllabus and the new technology in agriculture was noy included.

The course curriculum is fully based on botany particularly Horticulture like fruits, vegetables, flowers, plantations, medicinal, and aromatic plants. I have chosen this because many govt jobs are available in this field. Our class has nearly 58 students. All professors are M.Sc. or Ph.D. with NET-qualified lectures. 3 exams will be conducted in a semester.

Life in college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am from Agriculture background. The student ratio is 50:50 faculty is well qualified with good knowledge. Exams were frequent and we have to be a bookworm. Exams are even too difficult.

Placement Experience:

There is campus placement but that won't hello much bcoz there are very less agriculture industries coming up to college. but after degree one can join banking sector, UPSC. can also opt for further studies. My plan is to join defense after this degree. there are many opportunities for business setups

About the RTU

Remarks:

Teaching is best. Have all the facilities.Even transportation facility is also available.But the infrastructure is in developing.So can't expected more about it.The college has started in 2014 and already 3 batches are out fro the college.The environment is so clean and has the land for agriculture aspects.

Nice place with beautiful environment

Remarks:

Good teaching, well encourage mentor for sports, scholarship for merit students are very helpful, in case of maintenance very good Good but need to be better in lab instruments and other infrastructure facilities compared to other universities in Karnataka.

My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life.
