Politics is pretty strong in our college so students tends to fight each other. Some times the fight is so fierce that police forces are used. 2 years before there were frequent lathi charges and arrests going on. At present the atmospherr is pretty clear and there is no more fights
Course Curriculum Overview
We have semester system and two semesters in an academic year. There will be 2 assignment tests and 2 internal exams before the semester University exams. For those who study well for internal exams can easily pass any paper in university exams
Placement Experience
There is a lot of companies who give placement in lbs. TCS Infosys Qburst Cognizant etc. Mainly placement is for CS IT students. If students other than IT dept knoes coding and programming well then they can also participate in placement
College Events
We have sports day, arts day, college union inaugurations, onam celebrations, traditional day celebration, intercollegiate games like football cricket volleyball etc, Diwali celebration, menshostel day celebration, blood donation campaigns, NSS camps, nature camps, College tour and IVs.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is based on the seats onto which the students took admission to. For the students who took admission in the year 2016, 35k rupees for merit seat, 65k rupees for management seat and 1lakh rupees for NRI seat
Fees and Financial Aid
We can either pay the college fees either by availing loans or by availing scholarships. There are alot of scholarships for the students, basically students who belong to general category doesnt get any scholarships. Moma Egrantz Merit cum means etc are some scholarships
Campus Life
Our college gives lots of importance to sports and games. Our college has handball football cricket volleyball basketball badminton table-tennis teams and we bags most of the trophies in the FZone championships. Labs are also pretty good. Mechanical labs are the best ones
Hostel Facilities
There are 4 hostel for 4 years. Bilal zulu kotta and MH, 4th years resude in MH and it is pretty large and aesthetic in looks. It has all infrastructure needed even if the building is a bit old. We have messhalls attached to the hostel
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is also very strong. When there are events like techfests and union inaugurations, alumni provides help with fund required for smooth working of the programs. Last year when we conducted a techfest called sidhi2k18 alumni provided about 50k rupees
Admission
I got admission in lbs as my 3rd allotement merit seat.i took temporary admission in another college and got transferred to lbs in my 3rd allotement. Admission procedure was easy and quick. You would need a guardian while taking admission
Faculty
Faculty in civil engineering department are good and friendly compared to electrical and CS department. CS dept faculties are so horrible and they treat the students like enemies. They purposefuly lowers CE marks of students whom they dont like
