Positive remarks of the college are the placements are good , Faculties, curriculum of the courses here are good. Negative remarks are few more infrastructures can be made for purpose of studying so that the practical knowledge of the students can be improved further

Course curriculum is very good.we have all the classes both theoretical and practical classes additional to that college is also training the cadets in basics of nautical physics,nautical maths (spherical trignometry) and practical classes based on seaman ship

The placements comparing to other maritime college is very good. As major shipping companies visit the campus for placements. The giving placements here are Seateam management, Maersk, Good wood ship management, Chevron,NYK, FLEET MANAGEMENT, DOCK AND DALE. And some more.

There are some events conducted by other departments, but specially every department has its own way of celebrating the events. The events here are distinguished two types one is enjoyable and other one is knowledge oriented based on their particular subject.

The fees structure is high for technical courses that is DG courses like BSC Nautical science (INR 3,45,000),BE MARINE ENGINEERING (INR 3,45,000). AND OTHER departments less than above mentioned main courses. Above mentioned figures are per year fee

Scholarship are provided here for good marks, first graduate , Fisher man community and there are other scholarship based on the individual performance and their ability to perform If they get placements there are chances to get sponsorships from the company.

Extracurricular activities are there such as cultural, Eco club panting trees spreading green, NCC,NSS who used go to the near by villages and devil's develope their welfare.Ysr clubs there for volunteer purpose.

The technical courses here are to stay in hostel compulsory. the infrastructure of the college is nice.And the college is located in along side ECR road there many place to enjoy and shop at the weekends,For sports interested persons there playgrounds for cricket, basketball,handball,tennis, football.there is swimming pool and gym for fitness purpose also there is continuous water supply and electricity supply

Alumini of the college are spread throughout the world as this is the shipping sector.They may sometimes help in the placement issues of the college.And they visit the college and teach the cadets based on their current situation of the shipping sector.

First I applied for this college. They checked the minimum criteria for APPEARING for entrance exam that it's 60% PCM.Then there was a entrance exam.It was a online exam consisting all the subjects like English, maths, physics, science. Then they released merit list. After shortlisted in merit list. There will be interview captains of the college. Then after that we should undergo medical test. And after clearing all these examinations you will be provided with an admission letter and date of joining.

The faculties of the college are extraordinary as they are ex captains who was working in the ship for more than 20 years. So their practical knowledge will be more their kind of teaching is different and easily understandable comparing to normal teaching professionals
