Sinhgad Karandak is one of the best event you can experience in Pune. But main problem of the college in past few years is that the management had not paid the salaries of faculty members and that was not only from 2 or 3 months but from 1 year long. This needs to change.

In first year, there were 2 online tests after a period of commencement of college. Each subject is for 25 marks and like wise 5 subjects were there. Final written exams were 2 months after the 2nd online test of each subject carrying 50 marks.

Placements are moderate for our senior batch. Only 75 students get placed out of 340. And that too in IT companies. A couple of students got placed in core companies. The highest package offered was 7.5 Lacs INR. Companies visited are Accenture, Infosys, mngl. Placement cell is there in our college and it helps a lot. In 2019 total 1200 placements were done in a single week which is a great achievement of the college. No internship is provided by the college but yu can praticipate in various technical competitions like SAE BAHA, SOLAR CAR COMPETITION.

1. Sinhgad Karandak : Every year, event is celebrated in which various international celebrities or music bands like Chainsmokers, W&W had also visited and done events. 2. Sae Baha : Technical competition in which students design and assemble a race car with the help of seniors and the faculty. Each year the team praticipates in race competition held in various parts of the world. 3. Solar car : This event started few years back. Students had designed a solar powered car with the help of faculty members and they got 2nd prize in the competition held in Solapur. By the 2nd year they increased the efficiency and speed for which they get the 1st prize in designing and also for the race competition which was held in Chennai.

Back in 2015, the fee structure was like for General : 1 lakh Obc : 50 Thousand St : 14 Thousand Sc : 8 Thousand This structure was feasible and as we go up the class the fee gets increased by 1 to 2 Thousand each year. Now in 2019, the fee was hiked by 15 Thousand for each category.

No scholarship was offered by college but the scholarship is given by state government to students of different category. Many students have availed this facility offered by the state government. For ease of it college has made compulsory to all the students to open the account in the branch of central bank of india located in the campus itself.

I got admission through cap rounds held by DTE. I had filled the cap round form through which i got selected to Sinhgad College of Engi. Vadgaon bk. When i arrive in college , i took admission by submitting documents and the fee. Fee can be paid in 2 installments or in one.

Teachers here are very knowledgeable and smart. Also, they are very helpful. Some teachers are of research level quality and many of the teachers have done their Ph.D. Projector based learning is carried out and notes given to the students are in the form of digital or printed according to the need. Every semester there is an industrial visit for students to get real life and practical knowledge.
