Affordable and great education

Teachers are really strict but it's upto us how we can take this. Fee structure is very feasible, books of curriculum are easily available in library in case you don't want to buy them, staff is really helful.

Curriculum is basically related to what exactly required in the further career but need to be updated.Also besides curriculum also gives basic knowledge of other important subjects also.Also there are other subjects like ethics and communication skills which held in personal development.

Placements and Job opportunities are great and in chemical engineering there is about 90% placement rates. Also a lot of companies visit for the placements and internship. Dept also help students to arrange internship in different companies ,but stipend is only given to students who got selected in companies that visit department.

First and the biggest event is Cyanide - it is the cultural festival of our dept , it's a great event of 3 days with varies fun events, ramp walk and singing and dance competition. 2nd is aanwik- it is techical fest which include many events having technical knowledge.

The students with chemical engineering have total fees about 20 thousand per year which I think very feasible for a engineering college, but the students of mba + chemical engineering have to pay nerly 1 lakh per yr which is a lot but if we compare it with other colleges it looks cool.

There are different scholarships offered by the dept. First of all for the students who belong to the economically weaker section are given scholarship. Also the students who play sports on state level scholarship is also given to them.

Labs of the college is not fully equipped but have most of the equipments required are available , but I think there is a need of upgradation of labs. There is a sports club in our dept which organise different sports events (intra dept). Also if anyone want to play games professionally he or she can get there name enrolled in university games.

Currently I am staying boys hostel 5, rooms are bit congested and food of mess is ok but very feasible, also hostel provide other facilities like gym washing machines, gysers, and free electricity, badminton court and many more. Also fees of hostel is around 1 thousand per month (without mess charges).

Yes, they are really helpful in many events of dept like alumini meet we get to meet the passed out students. First of all it's great to hear about their career stories what they pursued is great. You get to know a lot of things about different companies about their working what it takes to reach next level of success. So basically they are always helpful and great.

After my 12 I gave her mains exam and got 103 marks, with 68699 rank and than I fill the form for counseling of Panjab university and after that I got the list in which I can take admission according to my rank so that's how I got enrolled in this dept.

Most of the faculty like very experienced but I myself think that teachers are more focused on the assignments and Less on the knowledge. This made environment of cramming in the dept , also students are not interested in the practicals due to lack of information given by teachers.
