Remarks

College is best but only bad thing is the 75% attendance criteria. Personal opinion it should bhi reduced to 60% but its not college's fault its Mumbai University's criteria so can't help that one.

Entrance Preview

I took MH-CET for the admission. I scored decent marks and got into computer science. It was from before only that I loved computers so I took admission in it.

Internships Opportunities

The internships are offered directly to MCA students from companies like Accenture, Justdail etc. The stipend for direct recruit from college is none as if a student wants to continue job he is allowed and the he gets a fulltime job at these companies. Secondly there is tVEC the entrepreneur cell they contact companies other then official recruiters, like the startups or other companies. They take aptitude test and on basis of it the companies took interviews and select students as interns and on basis of posts the give stipend and certificates. Recently startups like boxaina, trueggo, keyqual etc visited and selected many students for winter internship.

Placement Experience

4

Placement and job opportunities are good as compared with current situation of nation. Like many people graduate but does not get jobs easily, in comparison to them our college has a decent amount of students recruited every year. This year the maximum package was offered by Assest Management Company Morgan & Stanley of 16 lacs/annum. Many people were selected on basis of aptitude test and few were taken for next round. JP Morgan recruited 18 people giving package of 6.6 lacs/annum. Die Bolt recruited 5 people giving each a package of 5.5 lacs. Also Accenture recruited 270 people this time. 35% more as compared to last time. Many companies like Indus Valley Partners, l&T, Capgemini, Infibeam, SAP Networks etc vist our college and give decent packages per year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As college works as per government rules and regulations the fees is under the shiksha abiyaan laws. Personally its a little bit expensive but if we want a better education i think its feasible. Also there are many scholarships which are provided for students.

Fees and Financial Aid

Various Scholarships are provided by the college to students. I haven't avail any but the names i remember areTulsiani Scholarship. Tata Scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Campus life :- Cool.Exposure :- Very good. Well parties it starts with Unofficial freshers the best one I guess. Most of the new crowd come also the old one. This is being held by alumni or the current Seniors and is the most amazing one. While hostel they arrange for Holi Parties, Ganapati Celebration and yes the always birthday celebrations of the hostelites.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel accommodation is very good and feasible. Equipped with WiFi, A common room and Television the best part of VESIT is hostel. Different people different places yet they are all together always. Mess on other hand is not quite good. And its been said

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are Best. As part of VESIT's Hostel Life I personally can assure that Seniors are way good and very helpful. And thats why we can see many public from hostel to be participating in various events. Also many people from hostel are in various societies and councils.

Exam Structure

Exams are semester wise.College follows the MU pattern a couple of test before in each sem considered as internals And the final exam External. Its always something nervous on exam day but as soon as you enter exam hall its very chilled because you find y

Placement Experience:

Placements are usually pretty average of 7-10LPA and usually students with CGPA of 7-9 sit for the campus placements. I would say around 40% students get placed decently. If no campus placement, the course is so diverse that you can easily get jobs if you have the skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is half electronic and Computer science based . It is really useful for students opting for Robotics, Internet Of things , Vlsi , etc. But if you want to opt for fully computer science based stream or career, dont choose this stream as there is shortlisting issue during placement here for this stream
