Review of IIITH BY Current Average Student

Negative: College fees is a little high. Also, there is no swimming pool within the college even though there is one just 100 meters from the college. Positives: college is great in terms of academics and also great in terms of placement and job opportunities.

Current course curriculum for CSE involves courses on Data, Algoritms, Machine Learning,Os development, Iot, and embedded systems. The current Exam structure involves 2 quizzes for each subject in 1 semester and 1 midsem exam and End sem at the end of the semester.

Placement and job opportunities are the best part of college because placement is 100 percent and the average Package provided by companies is 16 lakhs per annum. College also provides internships. Overall experience for the college internship was personally good for me. As a teaching assistant, i got to teach my juniors and also get to know subjects from a different perspective.

March meltdown: It is a music event where students perform metal songs on stage. Felicity buzz: it is an event for first-year students.It last for 3 days it includes various event like face painting dj night comedy events. This is main event of the college it includes a play by students, dance events and music events. There are various events by each club like astronomy club, chess club, music club, dance club.

Fee structure involves admission fees, Hostel fees, Mess fees. For each semester you have to pay fees before the beginning of the semester. Fees is 1.37 lakh including tution fees, mess fees, Hostel fees. 1.10 lakh is tution fees,6 thousand is mess fees and 31 thousand is Hostel fees. Fees can be considered expensive.

Loans are available for every student and scholarships are available for students whose parents have income less than 8 lakhs. Every year 15 students are given complete scholarships on tution fees for students whose parents have income less than 8 lakh combined.

There is a football ground, cricket ground, 2 tennis courts, 2 badminton courts, volley court. There are a table tennis court in every hostel and the swimming pool is just near the college. Lab for the various fields is in college like Machine learning, civil engineering, Iot embedded systems, cognitive science. Overall all labs and sports facilties are great.

The hostel is compulsory for each student. The hostel facility is good. There are both single rooms and rooms with roommates available. There is a separate hostel for girls. There are in total 3 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. No cross entry is allowed. The hostel has 7 restrooms per 60 students. There is a maintainance for the room every 15 days. Restrooms are cleaned every day. the hostel can be rated as 4 stars as for infrastructure and facilities

Alumini network is great. There is an alumini meet atleast twice in a semester. In alumini meet,0 the experience of alumini and questions of juniors are answered. Seniors are also really helpful. They help juniors in organizing various college events also help juniors if they have any questions regarding curriculum

I got admission directly on basis of my JEE MAINS entrance exam result. There are five rounds for admission in Iiith college. If you want to go to the second round you must pay the fees of admission first.If you don't get selected after the end of the fifth round then you get most of the fees back excluding some charges. Cutt Off is around 1100 rank in jee mains

Every faculty of the college a Ph.D. doctorate. So obviously they have a real grasp on the topic which they teach. They all have published research papers and various citations. Each Ph.D. student is assigned a faculty member as a mentor who helps in writing a thesis. Faculty members of college can be considered most resourceful.
