NRTI- THE WORLD CLASS

NRTI is the world level college as there is only two country in the world which have transportation university which is a plus point for us that we are provided with professors who teaches world wide. As NRTI is centralised so to get any funds from the central much time have to wait which is much negative point of this college.

Course include mostly the practical thing like the leadership, group discussion and many other things like that Exam that happens is generally Presentation on certain topic, 1/2 hour of quiz just in between the course in the college. There is trimester system so final exam happens just in 3 months.

As this college was inaugurated in 2018 by Piyush Goyal. So, I belong to the founding batch of this college but as it is a Railway university so the placement will be 100%. College provided us Internship in Indian Railway in the last year of our course. They provided our nearest railway station from our home. Even the Railway board member talked to the DRM of the division where any student faced problem. But no stipend was given to us as it was our responsibility to gain experience first.

As the college is Central government so every event of national holiday like Gandhi Jayanti, Republic Day etc. Even festival like holi, diwali, id etc is use to celebrate. This year, In Gandhi Jayanti we celebrated the swacchta abhiyan in our campus as it was the dream of mahatma Gandhi of clean India. Even sports week is always organised by the college.

Fee structure of this college seems to be little bit expensive as college provides compulsory hostel for the students so it includes big amount of money.

There is a model room where there is model of station where we can practically see what happens on the railway station. NRTI have library and every sports facilities like badminton court, cricket ground, basketball and volleyball court, swimming pool. All these facilities are working now.

Hostel, mess fee us included in fee structure which is about 65,000 including mess and hostel. There is very much good facility in the room. It includes AC, washing machine, Attached bathroom with geaser and western toilet.

There are no seniors of us but now the juniors jas come. And if we consider senior of us in campus they can be NAIR probationers who come after cracking CIVIL exam and they come for training in Nair as NRTI shares capus with NAIR. These probabtioners are very helpful as they share their experience with us about how they cleared the UPSC exam.

First filled the form that came into June and then entrance exam was held in july and merit list and waiting list came in the start of August. So I was not in the merit list but I hold the 1st Rank in OBC waiting list for the B.Sc course.

Faculty of this college are not permanent but they are well qualified. They are from the IITs and IIMs. These faculty generally teaches post graduate student but they are asked to teach 12th passed out student like us. Some teacher who teaches world wide also come to NRTI to teach us. As college has collegen with Russia. So teacher are exchanged.
