Considering placements and internships, SAGE University Bhopal for B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence seems to have a solid edge with companies like Wipro and Amazon offering internships, and an average package between 5-7 lakhs. The faculty is supportive, and there's a focus on practical learning, which is critical in tech fields. On the other hand, VIT Bhopal's B.Tech in Gaming Technology might be appealing if you're passionate about gaming, but the placement data is less clear. If you're looking for better job prospects and a more established internship program, I'd recommend SAGE University Bhopal. However, if gaming is your true passion and you want to dive deep into that niche, then VIT Bhopal could be the right fit for you.

Artificial Intelligence is one of the most popular fields today, so choosing AI for your future is a fantastic idea! Good luck! AI involves practically implementing concepts, working with machines, and making them capable through various methodologies. Typically, college courses take a more academic and theoretical approach, which may not align perfectly with a hands-on field like AI.

I recommend checking out a great industry-oriented AI course provider, Learnbay. It's worth exploring if you're looking for industry-driven coaching.

Now, here are some top colleges in India offering AI courses:

  • Dehradun Institute of Technology (DIT) University - AI course
  • Lovely Professional University - AI course
  • JK Lakshmipat University - AI course
  • Galgotias University - AI course
  • CT University - AI course

Thank you!

A few months ago, I was also researching this topic, and here’s what I found:

For a B.Tech or undergraduate specialization in Artificial Intelligence:

  • 1. IIT Hyderabad is launching India’s first and the world’s third full-fledged B.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence (AI) this year (2019). The course will have an intake of 20 students through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced). Students pursuing other degrees, like B.Tech in chemical or mechanical engineering, can also opt for a minor in AI. (For more info visit http://ai.iith.ac.in/btech.html)
  • 2. IIT Jodhpur has started a B.Tech. (Artificial Intelligence and Data Science) program from 2020–21. Here’s a detailed overview of the program by IITJ: http://iitj.ac.in/uploaded_docs/UG/AI_DS/B.Tech%20AI%20&DS%20curriculum_16102020.pdf
  • 3. IIIT Delhi is offering a B.Tech in AI starting from the academic year 2019–20. Admissions will be based on JEE Main scores. (For more info visit https://www.iiitd.ac.in/)
  • 4. IIIT Naya Raipur has also launched a B.Tech program in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science combined from 2019. Admissions are based on JEE Main percentile. For more info visit their website.

I've looked into both SAGE University Bhopal for B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and VIT Bhopal for B.Tech in Gaming Technology, and from a financial perspective, SAGE University seems like the smarter choice. SAGE has a lower fee structure, with tuition at Rs. 90,000 per year and hostel fees at Rs. 75,000, making it more affordable compared to VIT's higher tuition. The internships at SAGE with companies like Wipro and Amazon also enhance the return on investment, given the average package of Rs. 5 to 7 lakhs. VIT might offer a more specialized gaming curriculum, but with SAGE's solid education quality and lower costs, it's a better value for money, especially if you're looking for a strong foundation in tech. So, if you want to maximize your financial investment and still receive a great education, go for SAGE University Bhopal.
