How many marks should one get to have access to MCA in MNNIT Allahabad

To get into the MCA program at MNNIT Allahabad, you need to clear the NIMCET exam and have a graduation percentage of at least 65%. For SC/ST candidates, the requirement is 55%. I remember when I was preparing for it back in 2021, I focused really hard on my DSA skills since internships here are super competitive. The college has a great placement record too, so it’s definitely worth the effort!

Cutoff for NIMCET 2019:

• NIT Trichy (above 390)
• NIT Suratkal (above 350)
• MNNIT Allahabad and NIT Warangal (above 300)
• NIT Calicut and NIT Bhopal (above 250)
• NIT Jamshedpur (above 200)

Rest of the NITs (between 170–180).

For NIMCET 2018, add 100 marks to each NIT.

It's ranked 4th among the NITs under NIMCET. The qualifying cut-off for all 11 NITs, including MNNIT, depends on the level of the question paper.

• To secure a seat in MNNIT, aim to be in the top 200 ranks.
• In recent batches, there have been instances where students with an AIR of 200 in NIMCET 2015 weren't allotted MNNIT in the first round of counselling but managed to get it in the second round.

So, being under 200 is definitely a must for MNNIT!

NITK (Surathkal) is ranked second among the top NITs in NIMCET. You need to secure at least a rank under 150 to get in.

MNNIT (Allahabad) is ranked fourth among the top NITs in NIMCET. You should aim for a rank under 250 to gain admission.

Marks can vary based on the difficulty of the question paper. Still, scoring above 500 is essential for both.
