In whichever job you pursue, you'll likely receive more reputable work and better perks than your colleagues.

Now, regarding college placements, it mostly depends on your caliber, the effort you put in, and your CGPA. It's quite certain that you will have more opportunities at IIT than at any other college. In fact, there are more foreign placements from IIT than from NSUT. Nowadays, people can switch their work profiles anytime they want, and it's not necessary for a software engineer to come from a circuit branch or any other higher branch.

Also, big tech companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, Amazon, etc., allow all branches to participate in their placements when they visit IITs. So, it’s highly recommended to go for it.

It depends on various factors beyond just placements. But starting with placements: NSUT CSE placements are known to be good. Comparing them to IIT Delhi CSE placements, there's a noticeable difference at the top and top-middle levels, while the middle and lower tiers are quite similar. Almost everyone in CSE secures good placements.
