Universal Business School (UBS) is truly amazing and has a global feel. If you're looking to make a big change in your life, this is the place to be. I'm in my first year of the Cardiff BBA program at UBS in Mumbai.
As I wrap up my first year here, I've seen how much value UBS adds. The faculty is top-notch and always there to help us. UBS's motto is "Changing Lives," and it definitely lives up to that. The school offers a fantastic opportunity to connect with industry leaders who frequently visit to share their insights. It's the first green business school, backed by 60 CEOs, focusing on experiential learning. This approach gives us a better understanding of business and different areas within it. The professors are excellent, with many having corporate backgrounds and real-world experience.
UBS offers several international programs and partners with other universities like Cardiff Metropolitan and the Swiss School of Management. To ensure we grow in every way, UBS has various clubs that help us develop leadership skills. I've grown a lot personally, and it's noticeable. As the current Vice President of the UBS Sports Club, I've discovered my passion and improved my skills. The clubs organize activities to boost student skills, and there's a sports session after classes to keep us both mentally and physically healthy. We also engage in CSR activities regularly, keeping in mind our societal responsibilities.
At UBS, we also have a student-run private company called Experiential Learning Corporation, where I’m the Team Leader in the Marketing department.

I'm attending India's first green business school, which is quite popular. The PGDM program offers me practical experience with the corporate world and lets me explore the outside world by living on campus. However, I feel there should be more faculty members and more industrial visits.
Infrastructure: Being India's first green B-school, it's beautifully nestled in nature. The college is well-designed, surrounded by waterfalls, and has a unique architecture. Impressively, it uses 80% natural light for its operations, which is a commendable effort that not many institutions maintain. The campus is air-conditioned and offers 24/7 Wi-Fi. It also has a gym and facilities for both indoor and outdoor activities.
Faculty: At UBS, the teachers are experienced professionals from the corporate sector. They provide real-world scenarios that give us valuable insights. The faculty has extensive knowledge and more than 30 years of experience. The courses are designed to make students ready for the industry.
Placements: The placement cell is doing an excellent job. They ensure every student gets a job suited to their skills. Top companies like HDFC, HUL, ITC, and Deloitte, among others, recruit here. Students are offered roles such as relationship manager, cluster manager, analyst, and sales executive. Nearly all students secure internships with well-known companies like HDFC, Deloitte, and Coca-Cola.
I completed my BBA+MBA at Universal Business School, and those four years really changed my life. What sets UBS apart is their focus on Experiential Learning and the real-world insights provided by the faculty. They emphasize giving students a taste of the actual corporate environment.
There's ExCo Learn Pvt Ltd, a student-driven enterprise at UBS, which offers hands-on learning in areas like HR, Finance, and Marketing. It allowed me to develop and show off my leadership abilities. Being a CHRO at such a young age in ELC gave me a significant advantage in every job interview I attended.
The placement team is incredibly supportive and there to assist even at the last minute. I recently started a role as an HR associate at Ernst & Young, and looking back, I'm really glad I chose to do my global MBA at UBS.
