Hows the experience of studying at Universal Business School Karjat?

I'm currently doing my MBA at Universal Business School in Karjat, and I'm in my seventh month. I've had the chance to work with a US company called Smith & Nephew. Besides that, I've completed over four projects.

UBS focuses not just on classroom lessons but also emphasizes hands-on learning. The 50-hour case study, the Earn While You Learn program, and the adventure fest called RUSH 4 RUSH make college life some of the most memorable times.

From the moment I left the airport and headed to Universal Business School, I knew I was in for a thrilling experience. When I arrived, the enrollment process was smooth, and moving into the hostel was a delight. Surrounded by nature, the hostel has all the modern comforts like Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and nice furniture, making it feel like a 5-star stay. The next morning, the view from my window was truly inspiring. During the first week, known as induction week, I had the chance to meet over 25 CEOs, which is something unique to this school. The week concluded with an amazing freshers' party.

The campus offers incredible facilities: a 24/7 library, study rooms, air-conditioned accommodations, laundry, always-on Wi-Fi, room cleaning, and even a kitchenette. The environment is super friendly, and the staff feels like family, always ready to guide and support you. There's even a trading room where students can learn about the stock market with real-time updates.

There are numerous clubs where students can broaden their knowledge, learn new things, and stay informed about societal changes, all of which are crucial for thriving in the corporate world. UBS provides hands-on experience through ELC, a private limited company managed entirely by students, making it unique worldwide.

Choosing to study at UBS was one of the best choices I've made. It’s a place where future CEOs are nurtured. My journey of transformation has started here, and I can feel it every day!

In 2017, I enrolled at Universal Business School to pursue my MBA dreams. Unfortunately, my experience there wasn't great, mainly because of Prof. Siddhartha Bose. He gave me and many others really low marks in his subjects, which felt intentional and harmful to our careers. Most of us ended up with less than 60% overall, making our degrees practically useless.

What surprised me even more was that despite over 30 complaints against him to both UBS and Cardiff Metropolitan University, and an investigation that proved his harmful actions, he wasn't removed from the school. It makes me question whether UBS cares about justice or the students' futures. If they do care, they need to work seriously on improving their placement team.

Initially, the placement heads like Prof. Vidya Shrinivas, Suman Gundu, and Prof. Alpa promise to help students get jobs with a minimum package of 6 lakhs in top companies. But when placements start, it's a different story. Students are pressured to take jobs offering only 3 lakhs or less, with positions like "Sales Officer," which don't require an MBA.

Moreover, it seems like they sometimes place students in jobs just to earn commissions, even if the students later have to decline the final offer.

In conclusion, if you have plenty of money and just want to enjoy a resort-like experience, this college might be for you. But if you're serious about building your career and gaining valuable knowledge, it's better to be cautious of UBS's enticing marketing.
