VIT Pune and Walchand College of Engineering (WCE) have their own unique vibes. I studied B.Tech in Computer Science at WCE. The placement opportunities at WCE are quite impressive, with average packages around 8-10 LPA and the highest reaching 1.5 crore. I found the faculty to be supportive, especially in the practical sessions, and the campus life is vibrant with numerous clubs and activities.

In contrast, VIT Pune is known for its strong infrastructure and overall student amenities, but I felt WCE's environment was more personal and approachable.

From my experience at Walchand College of Engineering in the Information Technology program, I found the curriculum to be quite practical and relevant, which helped me a lot. The average placement package is around 8-10 LPA, and companies like Google and Microsoft visit for recruitment, which is a big draw.

VIT Pune also has good placement records but tends to be more competitive and larger, which might not suit everyone. I appreciated the community feel at WCE, where faculty are easily approachable and supportive.

I chose Walchand College of Engineering for my B.Tech in Electronics Engineering because it has a solid reputation and affordable fees. The average package for placements is decent, around 9 LPA, and many students get internships from well-known companies. While VIT Pune is a popular choice due to its extensive facilities and larger campus, I found WCE to be more intimate and focused on student development.

The campus culture is lively, with many technical and non-technical events happening throughout the year.
