The faculty-to-student ratio is 13:20 which is pretty good for a new branch. The faculty to student relationship is really good with some of the faculties. Most of them are easily approachable and interactive. One of the faculty who is liked by almost all students including me is "Dr. Bhargav Vaidya" who is also my faculty advisor. He is not much strict, understands student's issues , teaches really well , has good amount of knowledge and is friendly with students. He is the type of professor we all need (students). The other faculties are Dr. Prakash Gaikwad, Dr. Suman Majumdar, Dr. Priyanka Singh and Dr. Abhirup Dutta , they are also one of the best faculties. The most disliked faculty according to me and my whole class is Dr. Soumavo Ghosh as he is kind of strict, gives assignments every week, takes surprise quizzes, does not interact properly with students and is very short tempered. His teaching skills are also not good. Rest of the faculties are okay. Now talking about the exams, there are mainly 2 exams, mid semester and end semester. Between them there are quizzes, assignments and practical exams. The difficulty of exam depends on the professor.

like overall most of the faculty personally interact with students and in my department there are 15-16 faculties there are mid and end sem exam and beside that quiz or viva are there our structural faculty is very nice as there way of teaching is nice and that make us things understand clear and the faculties i don't like which only read the slides like they do not tel anything but overall most of our faculty make sure that we understand the things and solve our problem and there are s also mini projects given to us and ppt are also there

faculty to student ratio is also ample its 4:1, most of the times faculties are available for student concerns, doubts, etc. they are supporting in nature. I like one faculty who teaches power elecrtronics, really great prof. the efforts he makes to let B.Tech fellows learn things properly. exams are quite challenging depending upon the faculties and also their moods. most of the time one can solve the most part of the paper provided he studied, but no worries as relative grading hides that all.

Faculty to student ratio is great in my branch. It is around 2:5. Faculty student realtionships are great. Any student can approach any faculty to discuss some queries or contribute to his/her research areas. Student get to learn a lot from projects done under faculties. Some of the best professor in our college is Prof. Dr. Kapil Ahuja. His teaching philosophy is inspirational. There are several faculties which I hate but they are mostly from another departments, they should show some more care towards children in terms of grading. There are two major exams per semester and two minor which are referred to QUIZ. There are mid-semester and end-semester examinations, whose difficulty depends solely on the professor. Some are extremely difficult and some are very easy. In my branch, exams are fairly easy and are good judge of knowledge. In every course, number of students who fail the exams depends only on the professor, but on an average, 1-2 students fail in a course. Course curriculum is extremely relevant and in accordance with the industry standards. While it may feel some courses in first year are a waste of time but those are in best interest of an Engineer.
