TNEA 2026 Supplementary Counselling Tentative Allotment Out; Confirm by 7 PM Today

The Directorate of Technical Education Tamil Nadu (DoTE) has released the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 supplementary counselling tentative allotment. Candidates can check their allotted engineering seats on the official portal at suppl.tneaonline.org. Seat acceptance must be confirmed online by 7 PM today, September 7, 2026.

The supplementary round covers vacant engineering seats across Tamil Nadu colleges. These seats remained unfilled after the three main counselling rounds. The Provisional allotment order will be issued on September 9, 2026.

Only candidates listed in the supplementary rank list and who filled choices can view an allotment. Those who miss the 7 PM confirmation window will lose their allotted seat. The seat will then return to the vacancy pool for later rounds.

TNEA 2026 Supplementary Counselling Key Dates

The supplementary counselling schedule is compressed into a short window this year. Candidates must complete each step on time to secure a seat.

A total of 18,548 candidates have applied for the supplementary round. Competition is sharpest in the government-school academic quota. Around 4,798 candidates are contesting just 31 seats in that stream.
