According to the SID Pune, the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED) will be conducted in online mode for one hour between 10 AM and 4 PM on January 11, 2026. Get details below.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, has released the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design admit card for 2026. The SEED exam is conducted every year in January. Candidates who want to enroll in Design programs at Symbiosis Institute of Design must appear for this exam.

The admit card for SEED 2026 will be available on the official website till January 11, 2026. SID Pune provides SEED Mock Test on January 7, 2026, a practice opportunities to the aspirants, so that candidates can familarize themselves with the exam format and question style.

Final selection would be based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Personal Interaction as well as on the basis of the information provided by the candidate in the application form and the chosen specialization.

SEED 2026 Exam Structure

The SEED will be a 60-minute exam consisting of 60 questions. The questions could be MCQ, Match the Columns, Fill in the blanks, image-based and comprehension-based. The paper will carry a mix of questions related to Visual Sensitivity and Judgement, Observational, Perceptual and Reasoning abilities, Problem Solving, Basic knowledge of Logic of Science and Mathematics, Art, Craft and Culture, Design and Environment.
