CBSE Class 12 Verification and Re-evaluation Deadline Extended at pvr.cbseit.in/pvr; Check Last Date to Apply

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has extended the application deadline for Class 12 answer book verification, photocopy, and re-evaluation services on the official post-result portal at pvr.cbseit.in/pvr. Candidates can now submit applications until June 7, 2026, midnight. The earlier deadline was June 6, 2026.

The Board has taken this step in the interest of students. The decision gives candidates more time to complete the application process. No offline applications will be accepted under any circumstances.

CBSE Class 12 Post-Result Services 2026 Key Details

The post-result services portal allows candidates to check, verify, and re-evaluate their answer sheets after results are declared. The portal received over 70,000 applications by June 4, 2026. CBSE recorded nearly 1.5 million access attempts within minutes of the portal going live on June 2, 2026.

In the interest of students, CBSE has decided to extend the last date for submission of applications for Verification and Re-evaluation of Question(s) for the Class XII Board Examinations, thereby providing students additional time and support to complete the process.

CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation 2026 Fee Structure

Candidates must pay the fee online while submitting the application. The amount varies by the type of service chosen. The fee is non-refundable once paid.

Why Was the Deadline Extended?

CBSE extended the deadline due to extremely high traffic on the portal. The Board also faced coordinated cyberattacks on its post-result services portal. An investigation into the cyberattacks is currently underway.

Many students reported difficulties accessing the portal in recent days. The extension gives affected candidates a fair chance to submit applications. Lakhs of Class 12 students use this service every year.

How to Apply for CBSE Class 12 Verification and Re-evaluation 2026?

Candidates can apply for any of the three services on the official portal. The process is fully online and requires no paperwork. Follow the steps below to complete the application.

1. Visit the official portal at pvr.cbseit.in/pvr.
2. Click on the relevant service link for Class 12.
3. Enter the roll number, school number, and centre number.
4. Select the subjects for verification or re-evaluation.
5. For re-evaluation, mark the specific question numbers.
6. Pay the prescribed fee online using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
7. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Keep a few items ready before starting the application. This saves time and avoids errors during submission. Students should also note their login details carefully.

Order of CBSE Post-Result Services
