CBSE Class 12 Re-evaluation 2026 Fee Structure

Candidates must pay the fee online while submitting the application. The amount varies by the type of service chosen. The fee is non-refundable once paid.

Service Fee
Scanned Copy of Answer Sheet Rs 700 per subject
Verification of Marks Rs 500 per subject
Re-evaluation of Answers Rs 100 per question

Why Was the Deadline Extended?

CBSE extended the deadline due to extremely high traffic on the portal. The Board also faced coordinated cyberattacks on its post-result services portal. An investigation into the cyberattacks is currently underway.

Many students reported difficulties accessing the portal in recent days. The extension gives affected candidates a fair chance to submit applications. Lakhs of Class 12 students use this service every year.

How to Apply for CBSE Class 12 Verification and Re-evaluation 2026?

Candidates can apply for any of the three services on the official portal. The process is fully online and requires no paperwork. Follow the steps below to complete the application.

  1. Visit the official portal at pvr.cbseit.in/pvr.
  2. Click on the relevant service link for Class 12.
  3. Enter the roll number, school number, and centre number.
  4. Select the subjects for verification or re-evaluation.
  5. For re-evaluation, mark the specific question numbers.
  6. Pay the prescribed fee online using net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI.
  7. Download the confirmation page for future reference.

Documents and Details Needed

Keep a few items ready before starting the application. This saves time and avoids errors during submission. Students should also note their login details carefully.

  • Class 12 admit card or roll number
  • School and centre number
  • Result mark sheet or statement of marks
  • Active debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI ID
  • Working email address and mobile number

Order of CBSE Post-Result Services

Students must follow a set order while applying for the three services. The Board has fixed this sequence to maintain transparency. Skipping a step may block access to the next service.

Verification of marks comes first, followed by the scanned answer sheet, and then re-evaluation. A candidate who wants re-evaluation must apply for the photocopy first. This ensures students review the answer sheet before requesting a re-check.

Why This Matters

The CBSE post-result portal received nearly 1.5 million access attempts within minutes of going live on June 2, 2026. This rare extension shows the scale of student demand and the seriousness of the cyberattack probe.

Action Plan for Candidates

  1. Visit the official portal at pvr.cbseit.in/pvr right away.
  2. Keep your Class 12 roll number, school number, and centre number ready.
  3. Decide which service you need before logging in.

  5. Submit the application well before midnight on June 7, 2026.
  6. Save the confirmation page after successful payment.
Keep an Eye On

Watch for the revised mark sheets and verification outcomes on the CBSE portal. Updates on the cyberattack probe may also affect future post-result service timelines.
