BITSAT 2026 Registration is ongoing for session 1, and faces technical issues as students report date of birth and board selection errors.

BITSAT 2026 Applicants Report DOB Selection Error in Online Application Form

Birla Institute of Technology and Sciences (BITS), Pilani, has started the BITSAT 2026 registration process for Session 1, but several applicants are facing technical issues while filling the online form.

Students have reported problems mainly related to date of birth selection and school board options. These issues have caused confusion among candidates, though officials have clarified that they are temporary technical glitches. Students are advised to remain calm and follow the suggested solutions until the issues are resolved.

Many candidates have reported that the date of birth field does not allow selection of dates after June 1, 2008. Due to this, students born before this date are unable to complete the application process.

This is a technical glitch in the registration portal. It is important to note that there is no age limit for appearing in BITSAT 2026, and students of eligible academic qualification can apply regardless of birth year.

BITS admission authorities are aware of the issue and are working to resolve it. Students facing this problem are advised to wait for a few hours and try logging in again. The issue is expected to be fixed soon, and no application will be rejected due to this temporary error.

Several applicants from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have reported that the CBSE option is missing from the board selection list.

CBSE students should select AISSCE (All India Senior School Certificate Examination), which is the official examination name conducted by CBSE. Selecting AISSCE is correct and valid for CBSE candidates.
