NMIMS Life

Current students and alums, can you please tell me about what life is like at nmims apart from coursework? Since there is no campus how do students bond? And what about night life, leisure activities etc? What’s the rent for 1 bhk in vile parle? And what are the monthly expenses in general?

The faculty is nice. However the admin staff act like a-holes sometimes. Students usually bond in classes and common eating places like the canteens or Starbucks which is just besides the college. As for leisure activities many people prefer clubbing or eating in good restaurants, movies, bowling, SMAASH, beach, turfs the usual stuff. Mumbai has good nightlife. As for Vile Parle, the rent is quite high be it hostels or flats. I remember my 1 friend who had a small 1 bhk apartment Vile Parle East paying 45k for rent. You should look for a place in Santacruz. Much cheaper rents and only 1 station away from Vile Parle. As for expenses depends on the kind of people you live with. I hope this helps
