Pracheen Kala Kendra offers certification courses in music for candidates who have completed their 10th standard. Admission is generally on a First Come First Serve basis, but the Bhushan course requires completion of the Prarambhik level. Applicants must also pass an interview. The faculty includes experienced music teachers with notable industry experience, and occasionally, guest lecturers from prestigious institutions worldwide.
The 4-month course is affordably priced, providing an extensive learning experience in music recording and beat-making. Established in 1957, the Kendra remains accessible to the public, offering scholarships for deserving students. While the institute does not provide on-campus placement support, its curriculum is designed to enhance employability, with some students participating in major festivals and music programs.
