Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculam was based on 8 semesters sem 1 and sem 2 was basic and was same for every enginnering stream after that as i opt for computer science the syllabus was started according to that. In real world i had implemented this curriculam as a developer in which the basic languages that i had learnt plays a great role. There are some improvements that is needed that there must be practical implementation of each and every thing so that the student must grap the things easily and i would became easy in future life.

The students become eligible for the campus placements from the sixth semester itself. Most of the companies which visited the college were based on Mohali, Chandigarh. Like O7 services Netsmartz Almost 50+ companies visited the campus during placement drive. In terms of percentage a total of 80%+ students got placed in these Mohali based companies The average package was of 2.5lpa and the maximum went up to 5lpa for btech CSE freshers.

Placement department is good many companies are coming here for placement and an average placement ratio is 60-70%. Every type of profile are offered like software engineer, web development,web designing, mobile application, Human resources and many others. I'm getting placement from the college and now working as an web developer.

campus are good in a campus there is most of the student are placed based on the average package they accept the offer and highest package of the campus is 11lpa for btech computer science student achived this package.

Course Curriculum is also good. I am interested to use computers when i was free in my time. That's why i have choosed the Computer science field. Faculty staff is also good. They help us in any problems we are facing. All the facult staffs in our college have done master's degree. And their teaching method is also better beacuse they teach us through the projector and with blackboard. And also everyday what we read in the lectures they implement that in the labs. There are two mid term exams in the semester and through this exam we get prepare for our final exams.

From semester 7th students become eligible for campus placements. Infosys, wipro, netzmars, etc companies visited . Most of the student placed or got placement from this campus .my plan is to study hard and join isro in future.

O choose this course because i want to be a software developer. The ratio is 6:5 of students and faculty members and all the facility members were highly qualified and their teaching skills are so good and a term exams are held after or in 6 months and their is no difficulty to clear the exam if everyone works hard

Faculty members are too good and helpful. They are well educated and experienced. I am achieving many achievements here because of their proper guidance and the curriculum is also better than many of the other colleges I took a survey of.

For the placement, the students become eligible in the 8th semester And the minimum 20 to 30 company visit to the college for the placement the offer by company is 350000 to 100000 by the student's knowledge

Lyallpur Khalsa College of Engineering was founded by Khalsa College Lyallpur Educational trust. To get admission in this college, the student should be a a class 12 pass with 50 % marks. The students will be called on the basis of merit or entrance exam. They will have to provide with necessary documents at the time of admission.
