All about Baselius College Kottayam

Likes

Main thing I liked about the college is it is situated in the heart of Kottayam so the town provides many facilities like hospitals, supermarkets and shopping complexes etc..so it is much helpful for hostel based students and everyone
Then I liked my commerce department comparing to other departments because the faculties and facilities in there are pretty good ,also they conducts many events and commerce fests which makes the college life enjoyable
Also there's some programs not many. But the college fest was amazing

Dislikes

The main thing I disliked about my college is there's no much events or programs, the management is slightly strict so they didn't allow us to conduct any programs.
Second thing is about the college ambience. It is a small campus situated in the town so there's not much place to relax with friends and to chill.
Also there's not much enough time to study for the exams , when one exam is over there will be no gaps for the next exam.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in there 6th semester during 3rd year. The students has to score highest grades and should be capable of any skills and has to showed up in academic skills are eligible for getting placements. Sometimes the federal banks and other service centres approached the college for placing the students. The students from our department are placed in companies like( Tata Consultancy services and Accenture) . I think the highest package and average packages are around 25000. After all, my plans are degree is to getting placed in any reputed companies and further more.

As it is situated in the center of the Kottayam town it is easily accessible to students from far places and talking about the academics, it has nurtured many Rank Holders to M G University.Thus overall it is Good place to build the foundation for one's Career.
