Dislikes
Eventhough the campus is full of trees and all it is very small compared to other colleges in chennai. There is no auditorium that can accomodate the entire students. It is really inconvenient sometimes.
Govt transport was not adequate and we had to stand for hours to board buses.
Stella was strict about students leaving earlier before the closing bell.

The college life actually depends on the department we are in. The faculty doesnt have a personal connection with the students in my department.
The college is very strict with its age old rules and regulations especially dress code. Even though the college is girls only the students are only allowed to wear kurtis.
Placement Experience:
The placement are quite good. But the students of commerce department have mire advantage. Only final year students can sit for placements. The companies such as deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, ICICI bank will come. They will also offer a fair package.
The institute's career guidance cell guides students to search for multifarious opportunities. Candidates get job offers from the alumni association which facilitates campus recruitment for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Prestigious and my cousin is an alumni. Old college. Well known. Faculty is experienced and approachable. Academics are given great importance. Regular extra curricular activities are conducted. Located in the centre of the city. Transportation is convenient.
Discipline reputation great teaching well known institution in terms of curriculum which makes the best out of every single individual graduating there best training our talents are made proven and enhanced
All good remarks only. The good overrules the bad therefore not stating the bads. Like in any organization, there is bound to be positives and negatives but Stella wins hands down.
For the betterment of my language and exposure to a new city. The college is one of the best women's colleges in South India where you get to explore a lot. There is no politics on the campus and the students can concentrate fully on academics
The admission was purely on merit basis. Once we were selected on the basis of our 12th grade marks, we had a descriptive entrance exam. In each allotment 30 students were given the opportunity to study in this prestigious college. I was the last to gt sepected in allotment no.3. Soon after the entrance result(which was published at night) we had an interview. Therefore we had only the cream layer of students in our class.
