KMC Managlore Honest Review

Likes

The faculty is amazing! They are all extremely qualified professional individuals. The faculty of KMC Mangalore are extremely knowledgeable, talented and understanding individuals. They have immense clinical expertise as well.
The campus may not be very fancy but it is extremely homely. Once you start staying here you won’t feel like leaving. It will be a comfort zone and a second home to you.
The sports complex is amazing with state of the art badminton, futsal, basketball, tennis, squash, table tennis courts and many more.

Dislikes

I disliked the quality of the mess food. But then every college has their ups and downs.
In the AHS hostels there are limited Air conditioned rooms and are allotted on a first come first serve basis.
You cannot pre book hostel rooms and you are allotted your room and roommate on first come first serve basis as well.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For a person who did not plan on taking physiotherapy as a major till after their boards, I am absolutely loving the curriculum and the subjects. The reason why I chose this college and this course is that we get to start going to clinics to gain experience from the second year itself. This allows us to gain clinical knowledge early on. It's course outline was very good. And it prepares us for all sorts of patients and cases. Right from orthopaedic or sports injuries to ICU patients meeding cardiopulmonary physiotherapy. We also gain experience in neuro physiotherapy. Clinical Postings change on a regular basis allowing a student to gain a lot of clinical experience in a good amount of time. Exams are often and are not very difficult if one is consistent. Practical examination are often difficult as methods differ from doctor to doctor but the overall idea is the same.

Detailed review of KMC MANGALORE in 1st year

Likes

Things l liked is the Faculties of both department and non department
Their Sports as well as Extra curricular activities they conduct in the campus. And their Sports infrastructure specially
Ragging free campus where only first year students of different courses live in the hostel

Dislikes

Hostel food which is ok. No leafy vegetables in it
Small campus in the middle of the city. Closing time is 8.30 for hostel
Everything should be handled carefully. No drinking and smoking inside the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to learn this course as this course doesn't have surgery part. And day by day there in demand of this course. The curriculum is set by the main campus which is Manipal. lt is very helpful in future aspects There is no suggestions for improvements in any areas of the courses and teaching methods The difficulty level of your examination is very normal but you have to work hard

my college experience in a nutshell

Likes

The faculty has been very helpful and understanding helping at every step
the study environment inside the college is quite calm and engaging

Dislikes

the campus can get noisy at times because of its location

Course Curriculum Overview:

the college provides a well rounded education covering all the subjects of the respective courses. it also incorporates practical hands on experiences as the students are given clinical exposure too. but it could be even better if they mixed subjects together more often to show how things are connected. the practical knowledge is the best
