  • The college does not really have placements or proper job fairs. It is all about making connections and spreading out on linkedin as much as possible.
  • Most people do not have a job after graduation and it takes a while and a lot of applications, Connections are the most important thing you can do here since day 1. all about networking and improving your skills

  • I chose to stay off campus in a shared apartment. I used to jump off campus and secure accommodation a month before moving there.
  • I did not really face many issues with finding one. It fit my budget and what i was looking for.
  • My apartment was right across campus. a minute walk away. The only concern was safety, as it was right on main st, but as most people around me were college kids, it did not really effect much

  • I got a full-time job within 9 months. As a professor to teach at another university. I got a full-time IT job almost 10 months after graduating in May 2023. IT market was on the decline.
  • 10% of people might have gotten jobs within 6 months of graduation. 70k-100k $ annually is the salary range.
  • Networking, LinkedIn, doing certification courses, self-learning, applying like crazy—every day spending 2 hours on job applications. You think all is easy. Come here and feel the pain in the ass. Campus does no shit. Trust me. Do not keep too much hope in that.
  • Experiences include a lot of disappointments and struggles and some easy success stories. Some in start-ups, some in established firms. Philips, Fidelity Investments. Freddie Mac, etc.

  • From apartments.com, zillow.com and Clark University's internal website to help international students find accommodation within the area in close proximity to the college.
  • My monthly rent was $525, which included a room with a bed and study table, a closet and a bathroom. Utilities were different. Around 30-50$ a month per head.
  • There was only one challenge. You have to pay 1st month rent, last month rent and a security deposit of one month all in advance. So the overall house rent was 2100$ as we 4 people stayed in paying 525$ each. Arranging the initial cash was the challenge.
  • Everything is an experience. Experiences can vary. My only recommendation would be, if possible, carry extra cash but with caution, as cash can be useful in these situations.
  • College from my accommodation was hardly 0.5 miles. It was pretty near, as I chose to find something close to campus, as I know it snowed a lot and walking in the snow is another experience. Most of the Indian students stay in shared accommodation only.

  • Around 70% of the Graduate students get a job within 3 months of graduation.
  • Average salary depends on the profile but on average it is around $80,000 per year.
  • Students apply on multiple job searching websites like LinkedIn, Indeed and Handshake for full-time jobs.
  • Most of the batch mates get a job good after graduation and the experience is mix of both frustrating and fruitful because it is a long process.
  • There is not one particular company or companies that hire but there are many companies around US which hires.

  • I opted for off-campus housing. I found this accommodation through the website provided by the university.
  • Monthly rent is $600, which includes electricity and washing service.
  • The challenge was to finalise the accommodation online and through video calls with owners, which required me to blindly trust that person.
  • There are many places that get vacated every semester because people graduate and they're available all the time.
  • My accommodation is 200 m from the university. And most of the Indian students stay off campus because it's cheaper compared to on-campus housing.

  • With an MSCS degree from my University, I feel l am well equipped to pursue a variety of full-time positions in Boston’s leading tech sector.
  • Leveraging the resources available through my university’s Career Connections Center and by maintaining an active presence on the LinkedIn community feels that will further improve my employment opportunities.
  • So far I have just started applying for full time jobs so I do not have much experience in this to share a review, just wanted to post what I have felt this far.

  • I opted for Off- Campus accommodation, as On campus is a bit on the pricey side, I found my accommodation by joining the University’s off-campus WhatsApp group, the link is mentioned in the university website.
  • Monthly rent for a private room varies from 600-1000$ excluding utilities, mine was a shared 2 bed 1 bath apartment between four people excluding utilities. My apartment is just 2 minutes walk from the university.

  • As per the current scenario, it is hard to drop a number or percentage, but on average, in the batch, at the very least, 20% of students get places in MA.
  • The pay range is $45k-$80K annually.
  • Students mostly apply on portals like Linkedin, handshake and via referral as well, the average pay range is $60K for students.

  • Via Zillow, you will get most of the accommodation. Once you are a part of this university, they will put you in an official WhatsApp group where the officials and campus ambassadors will assist you.
  • TIP: read the lease and understand the laws and regulations, keep your options open, and stay with people with whom you feel better, which you will figure out while connecting.

I am sorry I don't know the exact count of no. of companies visited but they have career fairs where many companies visit the Clark university and students get contact and get placed as per the requirements of the company. And this fairs are held many at least 5 times in the semester. The average salary is around $75000 for the masterThere are many research opportunities available in the university with great facilities available for it.

Clark University has given me the exposer which I need to know my self value as well as where I stand in technical ways. Also participating in different culture events in university has made me realize how beautiful humans and their culture are. Also getting knowledge for various source has been an advantage for me to improve myself. Overall, I am enjoying the period over here with exploring myself too with great opportunities here to learn.

Placement of Clark University is really good as the faculties offer internships if they have any.Other than that you can get connected with alumni's and find good network through which you can find a lot of opportunities for yourself.

Good course curriculum and easy payable fee structure tended me towards joining the university. Also the location of the university is quite useful in finding jobs as it's in Greater Boston so a lot of opportunities are pen for one candidate to find suitable job profile.
