Likes
- Loved the campus, the extra curricular activities.
- Different clubs to participate in. Opportunities are endless.
- There’s always something going on. Love the infrastructure.
Dislikes
- Disliked the career placement (UK is tricky!). In particularly my course had a skewed culture.
- Most were Asians. However overall the college has very diverse cultures.
- The faculty did have mixed accents. Also no group tasks were given so didnt get chance to mingle with others.
Course Curriculum
- The course was ahead of its time. No research experience, but there was industrial exposure. Timings differ everyday but mostly you are done by evening. Days Mon-Friday. Approx 70-80 students in a class.
Fees
- Back then, it was 33,000 pounds.
Likes
- Location is a prime one in London, at the very heart of the city
- Teaching Style is good and involves a mix of presentations and interactive sessions
- Events are the highlight with something for everyone to learn and have fun
Dislikes
- At times even presentation style of teaching can become boring
- Some subjects were not very interesting
- Eventually could get the best help to land a job there
Course Curriculum
- I have completed my Chartered Accountancy course so I personally did feel like the course was that tough. It was a good mix of theory and practical explanations .
- Classes were usually scheduled 3-4 times a week and we had maybe 1-2 lectures in a day .
- Duration of lectures varied from 1.30 hrs to 3 hours as well and more often than not they had sufficient breaks between them.
- I think the number of students in my class was around 100. Majority of them were Chinese students. Around 20-25% of the batch were Indian students. But again the class could get smaller in the 2nd term where we had optional subjects to choose and certain other batches were mixed during lectures.
Fees
- So my total fees for the whole year was £35,500. It is payable on a half yearly basis. 1st installment before joining and 2nd installment mid-year.
- I did not live in the university accommodation which to be honest are a bit more expensive than others but are at prime locations of the city. I was living in a private student accommodation where my rent was £165 per week including bills.
- Groceries run around £150 a month and travel can be around £100 a month.
Likes
- The program structure - 6 months of teaching followed by 3 months of dissertation.
- The course was quite practical in terms of the knowledge imparted and the skills developed.
- The faculty in the 2nd trimester was industry professionals who shared industry insights.
Dislikes
- The dissertation support was minimal and it wasn't conducted in an ideal manner.
- The cohort was mostly people with 0-1 years of work experience and not as diverse as I was expecting.
Course Curriculum
The curriculum was quite practical and relevant - the first trimester was the basics of different domains of banking and finance being taught by academicians and the 2nd was optional modules on different specialisations in the industry. There were a lot of options to choose from and really liked the option to decide what modules you want to take up.
Fees
Tuition fees - £35,500 for 2022-23. It comes to about 40 lakhs in INR terms but might have increased now.
Likes
- Excellent infrastructure that helps the students to develop skills and remove any hindrances in their research.
- Really equipped and updated with the latest technology. Great career-building activities providing real-world exposure.
- Learned and experienced staff that are working in their respective fields for almost 20 to 30 years. So, you can understand the knowledge base they must have.
Dislikes
- Placement cell not so efficient. Fewer opportunities and guidance.
Course Curriculum
Yes, of course my curriculum was well updated with the latest and real-time knowledge. It covered areas in micro and macro economics including Government policies, economic indicators ,micro units price mechanism, monetary economics . Finance was very interesting covering the latest stock market and risk management techniques and concepts. This has helped way a lot to develop my skills in this domain and apply them in my future jobs. I have gained in-depth knowledge about the finance of a country, and the global economy at large.

Indian students seeking admission in the MBBS program of King’s Londo College must have passed Class XII examination with at least 90% marks from CBSE and CISCE boards only. You must also take UCAT in order to get admission in this program.
