Landshut University Application Deadlines & Intakes 2026

HAW Landshut runs winter (October) and summer (March) intakes. The university uses the Primuss application portal. Non-EU applicants must submit a VPD from uni-assist before applying via Primuss.

• WS 2026/27 (bachelor's): Approximately July 15, 2026. 
• WS 2026/27 (master's): Mid-November to January or February per program. 
• SS 2027 (bachelor's): Approximately January 15, 2027.

Indian students must factor in APS processing time (3 to 4 weeks at APS India) before the application. The VPD from uni-assist takes an additional 4 to 6 weeks. Critical note: At HAW Landshut, the APS assessment is an admission prerequisite for Indian applicants, not only a visa requirement. The official university international applicants page states: "Applicants from China, Vietnam and India also need an APS assessment. Before you can apply to a German university, you must have your certificates checked for authenticity by the APS."
