Master of Science [M.S] [Applied Health Physiology] From Salisbury University

The AHPH curriculum prepares students for the Clinical Exercise Physiologist (American College of Sports Medicine - CEP), Certified Exercise Physiologist (American College of Sports Medicine - EP-C), and the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (National Strength and Conditioning Association - CSCS) credentialing examinations. Given this preparation, it is expected that all AHPH graduates will have achieved at least one of these credentials before graduation, although achieving all three is preferred. To that end, each student will be required to declare a primary area of concentration (respectively; Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Fitness/Wellness, and/or Strength and Conditioning), as that in which the student will be credentialed. This declaration will occur after the student has completed no more than 24 credits of the 42 credit curriculum.
