Master of Arts [M.A] [Instructional Leadership] From Roosevelt University

Future principals and teacher leaders get their start here, gaining the skills they need to advance their careers and have a broad impact on schools and districts. Students can expect focused and practical assignments, engaging and intensive discussions and small group projects, and multiple opportunities to complete field experiences and projects that dovetail with individual goals and school improvement plans.

The??programme offered by Roosevelt University?works in close partnership with five school districts in the northwest Chicago suburbs to admit candidates, deliver training and instruction, and assess outcomes. A subsidiary partnership with the national non-profit organization Kids At Hope (KAH) also is a distinctive feature of the degree. KAH works with schools and other community-based agencies to implement strategies that strengthen the belief that "all children are capable of success -- no exceptions."

The program in educational leadership is designed for students who wish to be educational leaders in schools, postsecondary institutions, professional associations, nonprofit organizations, and government.
