Course Curriculum

6

  • I would not suggest it to anyone in my department. University is good for medicine-related courses.

Admission Experience

  • Courses in the hand book drove my attention, and I accepted the offer, but reality was different because most of the courses were not offered because they didn't have faculties to teach those.

Faculty

8

  • Not sure about the ratio, but faculty and staff are well approachable, but need to take appointment in advance. Dr.In Hee Lee was the professor with whom I spent most of my time, and he funded 1 semester of GSR for me.

Campus Life

8

  • There are 4 campuses. I was only in main campus. The infrastructure is good on the campus. Lots of Extracurricular activities throughout the year. Great place to hang out near the university.

Part Time Jobs

  • RA is specifically for PhD students. There are a vast number of campus jobs available for students. It's very competitive to get on-campus jobs. 20 hrs of work are allowed during the semester, and 37.5 hours are allowed during the summer. There is an online portal for campus jobs.

Placement

4

  • Semiconductor Industry, Teaching are the main options. Students usually don't find a job because there is no campus recruitment. They need to find a job online.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

  • Monthly rent is around 700 - 1000, based on locality and the number of people sharing the house. Cooktop microwave, oven, washing machine, fridge, AC, and heater are included in all the apartments. Real estate portals are where I found a place.

Exams

  • IELTS.
  • Documents: CV, 3 LORs, Statement of Purpose
  • My score: IELTS 7.5 (7 is the cut-off). No other tests were required.

Fees

  • $26000 per semester.(Not worth it) 3 Semester
