Course Curriculum

10

  • The courses were pretty straightforward. We were informed of what we are going to get from them and they did cover everything that they have promised and yes, they are relevant.
  • No, we didn’t get any Research experience from our coursework.
  • That completely depends upon individual preference. You get to choose what course, time and also the professor you want to be taught by. Timings might be between 9:30 am and 9 pm. A class can be 75 mins or 180 mins.
  • For a class that’s common for all students, then it’s 120 in an auditorium or else 30 per class.

Admission Experience

  • I chose this particular university because their programme had four program tracks and I had the choice to pick any 2 of my liking. Moreover, they shared with me the offer of a different major when their seats were filled out and when i insisted on getting into IT they said okay and approved my admission for the next intake.

Faculty

10

  • 1:25, there’s only one professor during a lecture and they do make sure to check each and every student’s work. They respond to the emails within 3-4 hours on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends. Nesbit James, Javad, Wilfred Obu, and Vishal Shah: these are the professors that I liked the most and they did support me throughout my coursework.

Campus Life

10

  • There are many blocks dedicated to various departments and an activity center where we have all indoor and outdoor games with gyms, swimming pools, hot tub and all.

Part Time Jobs

  • $12/hr , the main website has a section to apply for on-campus jobs; you just need to fill out details and submit. Talking about TAs and RAs, 4-5 students can get them.

Placement

2

  • I don’t think they help you with internships and full-time jobs after your graduation. They do have a career development centre where you can get help with your resumes and interview preparation.

Accommodation

Off Campus
8

  • We have a few whatsapp groups that help students with the accommodations. $300-$600 for single/double sharing. Trash, lawn mowing, water included.

Exams

  • My GRE score was 302, and my IELTS score was 7. The IELTS cutoff was 6.5 in 2023; it might have been updated.

  • Any one of the following scores:IELTS, Duolingo.

  • Statement of Purpose, 3 LORS and CV.

Fees

  • $32k for coursework including Student activity center and health insurance.
