Spanish is the second most common language in the United States, with over 35 million people in this country who speak Spanish as a first language. Criminal justice professionals with a fundamental understanding of Spanish communication skills have an immediate advantage over their peers, allowing for much greater job opportunity and career growth in the fields of law enforcement.
