What Students Say
Likes
- Courses are practical and well structured.
Dislikes
- But all the programs are not designed with CO-OP. Which is bit disappointing.
Course Curriculum
- I would recommend people to join for thesis-based over course-based. That will have more exposure to the other aspects of the learnings. That would also help you while you enter your career.
Admission Experience
- The main reason was here the courses offered by the University are updated and designed according to the present scenarios which is going to be helpful; also, it's a good place to live.
- IELTS is mandatory. My score was 7 Bands in IELTS. The minimum bands should be 6.5, if I am not wrong.
Faculty
- I would recommend checking it on the university website for the particular department.
Campus Life
- Since I was a MASTERS student, I couldn’t enjoy much of a campus life. But as far as I know, CAMPUS life is good. There are plenty of clubs to join and some of the volunteering jobs. It’s overall good.
Part Time Jobs
- Minimum wage of the province. Get out of the home and do an in-person resume submission. Maximum work is 20 hours a week. Campus part-time is not hard to get; you need to keep an eye out all the time.
- Very few students secure a TA, which is basically given to thesis students.
Placement
- It’s subjective. Everything depends on the particular stream you join, the year you graduate, the market stability, etc. at the end it also depends on YOU.
Accommodation
- There will be some WhatsApp group chats where you can find accommodation. Rent is very high; :( I used to pay $520 per month, which is approximately 30k in INR.
Exams
- IELTS, LOR, SOP, UPDATED CV should be submitted while applying for the university.
Fees
- My program tuition fees was approximately $40K.
